Thank you Ray Skillman GMC and especially Bob Murphy for our recent service visit. My car started to break down on my way home from an overnight shift at the hospital on a Saturday morning. Bob got my car our recent service visit. My car started to break down on my way home from an overnight shift at the hospital on a Saturday morning. Bob got my car right in and assessed the problem, and got me into a rental and on my way home in about an hour! The needed repairs proceeded to be quite extensive. Bob worked with my less than cooperative warranty company and was able to get all repairs covered! In these difficult economic times, his extra time and effort dedicated to our service was a life saver! Thanks, Bob! More
I was on vacation from Colorado when my 2008 Kia Sorrento lost power going down the interstate. (This had happened a month before back in Colorado, but when I took it into the dealer there, they blamed it o lost power going down the interstate. (This had happened a month before back in Colorado, but when I took it into the dealer there, they blamed it on twisted wires under my seat due to garbage being under my seat. Sure I had some trash under my seat, but I doubted that was what was responsible for the problem.) I was almost at Bedford, Indiana when I called a Kia Dealer and they said they had no openings until the following week, which didn't work for me because I had to return to Colorado that weekend. They referred me to Ray Skillman and Amber was able to get me in that day. After about an hour, they told me what the problem was and that that is what they'd expected. (Seems Kia has had that problem before.) One part they had in stock, another they had to "overnight." They gave me a rental car (at no charge) and the very next day had my Kia fixed. I did have to drive an extra hour and a half each way, but the service was friendly, accurate, and quick. Thanks! You made what could have been a mountain into a molehill. More
