Looking to purchase our second vehicle from Ray Skillman southside. Sales people (Nick and Ross) were great but Lee the used car sales manager was just rude and VERY condescending not once but twice. bought a used truck from ray skillman and in 3000 miles it has broken down twice. once i paid $250(warranty took care of the rest) this last time they wanted $1600 for it to be driven in 4 wheel drive. the it has broken down twice. once i paid $250(warranty took care of the rest) this last time they wanted $1600 for it to be driven in 4 wheel drive. the truck only cost $5000. they will only now give me $2000 in trade for it despite radio and tv ads about $4000 over blue book for your trade. doesnt seem like they did anything of a inspection on the vechicle before selling it to me. with gas prices and unreliable cars and scam artist auto lots do yourselfs a favor RIDE A BIKE!!!!! The salesperson, Tony, was ok; however, the man who was supposed to be the General Manager wouldn't even look at me to talk to me. He was either playing games or texting on his phone, I believe. Anytime I asked him about or for something, he didn't even bother to respond, just paged my salesman again, who already knew I was there and just asked me to wait a minute while he finished up with someone else. They tried to TOTALLY SCREW me on my trade and wouldn't come off the sticker on the van that I wanted to purchase. Then, to top it all off, said with their final offer that this was it and I had to pick from one of the two colors they had on the lot because they weren't going to go to the effort of getting a different one for the price they offered me. Funny that I was able to go to Butler Kia the very next day and save myself almost $7,000! I am so mad that I even bothered with Ray Skillman and wasted my time this week. Don't go there unless you are okay with giving them alot of extra money for poor and disrespectful service. The Kia manager seemed ok and so was the sales guy, but not the G.M.! More

I was treated poorly throughout my experience at Ray Skillman. Throughout my experience, the sales person did not communicate with me and was in a hurry to be over with showing me cars. He kept asking i Skillman. Throughout my experience, the sales person did not communicate with me and was in a hurry to be over with showing me cars. He kept asking if I was paying in cash. I told him yes many times, but he was not satisfied and still did not take me seriously. He did not even try to show me cars that I could afford. When I told him my budget, he continued to recommend a new car that was triple my budget. Due to my poor treatment at Ray Skillman, I will never buy a car from them even if the price is cheaper than any other dealership in the state. More
