My experience in purchasing a new car -- a 2012 Buick LaCrosse -- was excellent and, frankly, exceeded my expectations for customer service. Chris Fischer, assisted by Shayne Payton, were outstanding sales representatives in every possible way. I was given excellent information about the LaCrosse and its features, and I was shown the various options and upgrades which were available. I recived a fair price on my trade-in, and the pricing of the car, and the 39 month lease, were explained completely to me. I paid less than I expected, and less than other dealers which I consulted, and that was a pleasant surprise! Throughout the process, the tone was low-key and absolutely without pressure. I was never given unreasonable deadlines for decision-making, and there was no attempt to get me to reach a decision sooner than I wished to do so. I not only would tell others about my psotive experience, I would certainly return to Chris and Shayne for other automotive needs. Since my purchase, I have received updates about service options, always with a statement that I can call and ask for help or advice at any time. Follow-up has been active, consistent, and welcomed. I give my highest recommendation to Chris and Shayne, and to Ray Skillman, which has obviously recruited and hired quality personnel and then trained them well in the essence of customer service. I had the pleasure of coming into Ray Skillman, Southside ~ and working with Shayne Payton. He and his finance department worked extremely hard to come up with an absolutely Fabulous Crew Cab Truck for my t ~ and working with Shayne Payton. Chris Fischer was great to work with when buying my new 2012 GMC Acadia. He let me test drive several vehicles and even offer to let me take it home for the weekend to make sure that it was the car I want 2012 GMC Acadia. He was friendly, informative and has checked on me several times to make sure the car is working out for me. My tire sensor light came on during a really cold spell and I called Chris to see if there was something I should do. He told me to bring it to the service dept immediately, which I did, and they had me in and out in 10 minutes. And they were all very friendly as well. Love my Acadia! More
I was just in there this past Monday and worked with both Shayne Payton and Chris Fischer. They were both super friendly and helpful. My wife and I stopped in on on Oct. 27th to look at a used Dodge Nitro that I had been eyeing online for a week or so. I had only made it thhroug a quarter of the lot when a salesman asked us if he could used Dodge Nitro that I had been eyeing online for a week or so. I explained what we were looking for and he said I don't remember that one, and Jeep or dodge products don't stay around long so if we had it then it's probably gone. We left. Late that evening I was on my computer and I saw the Dodge still on the Skillmans website. Thnking maybe the site just hadn't been updated I waited till Monday morning and called with the stock number to see if it was still there. A female said sid it looks like it is but let me double check and I will call you right back. Bad news she said it sold late Saturday night. A little upset I explained about Saturday afternoon, well she said it might have been going through the process while you were here. Tuesday late night While looking online at used cars I noticed not only was the Nitro still on the Skillman website but it had gone down in price another thousand dollars???? So Wed morning I called again. I Gave them the stock number and the female said "It looks like its still here but I always like to put my hands on it to make sure I will call you right back" Sound Familiar? She called back me back and said Bad news looks like the Nitro sold last night. Very upset now I explained my situation and was told sorry maybe the financing just went through that was started last Saturday. I am having a problem with that explaination. I am a general manager of a business and I have 150 employees and I know that if any of my people didn't care that much, someone would let me know. More
Shayne was an excellent salesman and I really appreciated all of his help in getting my wife and I into our new Chrysler 300. From the receptionist to the other salesmen everyone was kind and courteous. I have never had this good of an experience at an auto dealership and I have purchased a lot of cars. Chris Fischer and Greg Puckett are just a couple of the other people that I talked to at the dealership and they were very pleasant and helpful in making the experience great. I will definitely come to Ray Skillman first in the future to buy vehicles. The courteousness as well as the selection of vehicles is second to none. I have already told many people about how great the experience was and I plan to continue to spread the goodwill toward Ray Skillman. I purchased a 2006 BMW 325i on September 8th, 2012. The vehicle was in the shop on September 11th, 2012 due to a very bad oil and antifreeze leak. The vehicle was repaired in 6 days. On September 28th, 201 vehicle was in the shop on September 11th, 2012 due to a very bad oil and antifreeze leak. The vehicle was repaired in 6 days. On September 28th, 2012 I had to revisit the office to redo my entire loan because they lied to me and said that my vehicle came with a sports package, which it did not. On October 7th, 2012 the oil pump went out while driving home on the interstate and ruined the engine. I took the vehicle to a REAL BMW dealership and they told me that the motor was ruined, some sort of seal needs replaced in the transmission, and the battery is junk (throughout the month of September the vehicle had trouble starting multiple times). Ray Skillman says that all of the repair costs are on me if the warranty does not cover them. They won't even return my phone calls. They care about money, not reputation. More

Greg Tandy was a stellar sales consultant and Adam Kozlowksi provided excellent and thorough financing information. From joking around about watching my sweet ride (Chevy Lumina...ha) fade into the sunset to finding the perfect GMC Sierra for us, Greg Tandy went above and beyond our expectations. We truly enjoyed working with him and felt he provided one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. My experience at RS was great. From the time I walked on the lot and was treated like a real human being. I have had no so good experiences in buying used cars and was pleasantly surprised that Shayne and C the lot and was treated like a real human being. I have had no so good experiences in buying used cars and was pleasantly surprised that Shayne and Chris saw where I was, respected my decision, worked with me on price and then sold me what I wanted for the price I wanted. That never happens. And while this wasn't a "huge" sale for them they treated me and my wife like we were very important and our business mattered. Both gentlemen were courteous and thanked me for my military service and gave me a fair deal. I WILL recommend my friends and co-workers shop RS first! Thanks for making this painful process of buying a mini-van the greatest it could have been. More
