I got robbed! Dealt with Travis before, and ended up with an Avalanche that was not mechanically, or electrically sound. Nice enough guy, so I figured maybe I just got a lemon by chance. This time around, my dad was on board to help me get a new vehicle for work. We got hustled into buying a DEMO at FULL PRICE, and the scratches and dings on the front bumper that came along with it. The best part was being told it had 500 miles, only to find it had 5000 miles. We paid full price for a demo with dings and paint chips, and were lied to about the mileage. After my dad's loan was approved, they kicked us out the door, and had excuses for all our complaints. If they cared, we would've gotten an actual NEW vehicle, or at least.. A substantial discount for all the issues. But they refused to help us any further once they got our money. I will blast them with each chance I get. They took advantage of us, and they knew it all along. Very, very disappointed.. To say the least. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE CROOKS! It's already making noises in the rear end. I despise those shady people so much, I won't even bring it back to that location for warranty work. Which, by the sound of things, won't be far off. And I've only had it a few months. I deal with the public, and this is unacceptable treatment. The bigger they get, the worse they treat you. They would get zero stars if I could've rated it that way. More

not shopping needed help with flat tire We used to live in the area and knew Skillman's had a good reputation. Coming through Indy today we got off at Post Road for a break from driving and We used to live in the area and knew Skillman's had a good reputation. Coming through Indy today we got off at Post Road for a break from driving and discovered we had an almost flat tire. I went to the front desk at the dealership and was told the service department was closed. It was 2:30 or so and I wasn't surprised. I was asked if I had a spare and when I said no, one of the men in the office rudely asked me if I didn't have AAA. When I said no, more than one of the several people there said "Sorry" and then ignored me. I told them I had roadside assistance but didn't know who to call in the area. I was still ignored so I left. I didn't.expect anyone to leave their job to help me but thought they could have at least suggested a person or company I could have called for help. I received help from the lady at the counter of the gas station next door. She got me a plug kit for my tire and, Praise the Lord, we were back on the road in about half an hour. More

They needed to look at our trade-in to give us an allowance, we went in and within an hour we were approved. We did not waste their time or ours looking at vehicles that we were not qualified for. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this dealership when looking for a good, clean, dependable vehicle. They don't treat you like you don't belong. We went to a different dealership the day before and we were told they had to take us to another dealership because the vehicles on that lot were not in our price range. We sat there 4 hours and walked out without a vehicle. Please don't listen to tv ads, they are very misleading. If you want to be treated like a person, go HERE. If you want to be treated like a number, I can recommend a different dealership!!!!!! I prefer to be treated like a customer!!!!!! More

cost me 130$ for Skillman to not fix my C4 corvette They will brag that their service dept can fix corvettes (c4 in my case) but from my experience they can not. Had my check engine light come on & sometimes the car would sputter & pause in acceleration. Took it in to Ray Skillman Chevy service dept. A new shiny facility, but that's it! After a few hours they said it was done they did not do anything or replace anything but charge me 130 $ diagnostic fee. they said when it happens again bring it back in and we will credit the 130 toward it. I felt like saying "what the xxxx am I doing here now... Like I have an endless amount of time & money" .As soon as I got on the highway I looked down and the check engine light Was on and stayed on. Called Skillman & complained and after talking to their sales manager I decided not to do any further business with this dealership! I took my C4 corvette to Blossom Chevrolet they troubleshot it and located the part in less time then I was at Skillman..I Wanted to make sure no one else experiences a similar situation like mine. More

Very unimpressed with the staff We went to the Chevrolet place as it had the vehicle we found online and wanted to test drive it. I was called by one person and I told them when I would be there and they stated to ask for them. I arrived on time and asked for the person but they already left before we got there so we were given to another person. We never really felt like they wanted us there. Their sales people really didn't want to work with us on a fair deal for both. It was almost like they didn't want to sell a vehicle. We ended up leaving and went to Ray Skillman Mitsubishi West and worked with them on the same vehicle. We got the vehicle for the price we wanted and they even drove over and picked up the vehicle for us from the Chevy dealer. Now I know not to go to Ray Skillman Chevrolet and stay with a proven dealer that seems to really want you there and bends over backwards to get you in the vehicle you want. More

Best, stress free, buying experience I had my best car buying experience in my life. Unfortunately I was in an accident and my vehicle was totaled. Ray Skillman Chevrolet took it in as a trade and gave me a very fair price. I love my new Cruze. Morten Esbjoern was excellent. He knew the answers to every question I had and was very patient. He did not try to force me into a vehicle. He listened to my concerns and addressed my needs. He found exactly the vehicle I wanted in the right color.
