AWFUL SERVICE Where do I begin.. My boyfriend was pre approved for a pre-owned Mini Cooper. We show up, car is great, looks great and we want it. We stay until 8:30 Where do I begin.. My boyfriend was pre approved for a pre-owned Mini Cooper. We show up, car is great, looks great and we want it. We stay until 8:30 to get the car, which wasn't a problem. We were patient. Did all the paper work provided with no problems. Everything seems fine and dandy, so we were asked if we wanted to take the car home tonight. "Yeah sure, that would be great" Was told, oh they have to do a couple things so it might take an hour, do you want to wait? We said no thanks, we'll get it tomorrow because we have an hour drive home. Still no problem. Gave them my debit card to pay for the down payment which was my first mistake. On our way to the dealership around 6:30 and we get a text saying that we need to bring in a pay stub to confirm employment. So now we didn't know what to do because his work was closed and by the time we got a pay stub, the dealership would be closed. Also, we took his old car off insurance because we thought we were getting a new car. So I called Denny, the general manager. He was not nice in the slightest. I was sick and exhausted but I still was pleasant. He ended up calling us liars for faking employment, which we didn't. And told me to stop giving him attitude. Really? Talking to a customer like that? I'v been in retail all my life and he was not treating a customer the way they should be treated. I called an hour later after discussing with my family what i should do. They told me to forget about it and get my money back. So I called Denny again. He told me that I would need to give all my card information again. I did not feel comfortable giving him my card info and they would be closed by the time I got there. I told him this was pretty ridiculous for a 7,000$ car. He then told me that he didn't need our money because they make enough without our business. Okay, that's fine. Than told me that my boyfriend lied on his application and that he could go to jail if he reported it. After all this arguing, he ends up telling me that if I wanted the car for the night I could have had it. Really? Why wasn't this told to me in the first place?! I called this morning for my refund and I still haven't gotten a call or my money back. I will never do business here again and I'm making sure to put this all over social media. I'm also telling all my friends, family and co workers about this experience. :) More
