Buyer Be Aware! After working with a sales person for 7 days - including two visits to the dealership - the sales person told us he made a $3500 error on the "Custome After working with a sales person for 7 days - including two visits to the dealership - the sales person told us he made a $3500 error on the "Customer Propsal" given to us. This phone call came while we were securing a cashier's check for the amount he proposed to us. The vehicle would be $3500 MORE than the price he had quoted us on at least 4 different times. After negotiating with the sales person, we decided to purchase the vehicle paying $1,885 MORE than the "Customer Propsal" figure. The poor customer service did not stop there. We waited over an hour to get our license plate at the dealership. The "regular" license plate person was at lunch and her backup was "too busy right now" to assist us. So we waited -- 60 minutes! The sales person remarked "Oh, this happens all the time." What? Why have a back up! The final straw, the sales person told us we would be receiving a survey from Jeep. "Please," he said, "if you can't give us a 10 don't bother returning the survey. Anything other than a 10 is a zero." Don't waste your time going to Ray Laethem! More
