I took my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Tom and his team found a major issue that was luckily covered under warranty. I had an issue with my tires 2days after my service and Tom t rotation. Tom and his team found a major issue that was luckily covered under warranty. Patrick in the Service Department, as well as Collin the technician made me feel at ease about leaving my 1999 Plymouth Prowler for servicing. No help from dealer or manufacturer with covering failed installed recall part (safety recall federally mandated and EPA related and still covered by manufacturer per website), costing me $4600. Truck threw installed recall part (safety recall federally mandated and EPA related and still covered by manufacturer per website), costing me $4600. Truck threw 3 codes and engine light on the way home from being repaired, now thermostat is bad after working on coolant system, dealer replaced with aftermarket part without telling me or asking and charged me for an OEM part plus 1 1/2 hours of labor for a 10 minute job, this part failed the next day, with a pinhole in the housing leaking coolant.....while I was trying to find the source of the leak I discovered several bolts/nuts missing from the original repair, as well as wire bundles not locked down in the original clamps laying across hot ducting. I would expect this kind of work from a hack mechanic's shop up the street, I chose a dealer for factory trained technician's, OEM parts and instead I received sub-par work and a truck that stinks of coolant still, with a possible leak! Also, the communication from the service writer and service manager is lacking severely, I called this past Thursday in regards to my new leak and coolant smell and spoke to the service writer and was assured I would receive a call from the service manager in regards to my leak/coolant smell or the service writer and I have still not heard back.....UNACCEPTABLE! Had I read other reviews about this dealerships service department prior I would've avoided. Please do your research and choose wisely! More
