We shopped several dealerships looking for a Buick En My wife and I had a great experience shopping with Ray Chevrolet, and specifically John Lesniak. We shopped several dealerships looking for a Buick Enclave, and found the one we wanted at Ray Chevy (not the closest dealership we looked at). Easy to find and get to, the facilities were clean and accessible (elevator for our stroller). John was very knowledgable about not only the car, but also the process. This is helpful to a couple of newbies like us. We had to wait several weeks to get the price we wanted, but eventually it dropped into the affordability range. I called John and left a message on Friday stating we were interested in purchasing, and John called me back on Saturday morning. By the time we arrived at the dealership, he had most of the paperwork ready to go, making the whole process very quick. From John, to the business manager, to the tech team, everyone thoroughly explained everything we were signing, and all our available options. One thing I found very helpful was the tech team, which we hadn't experienced at any other dealerships. Ray Jr (third generation) was my liaison for the tech team. He sat in the car with me, helping with my initial call to OnStar, and showing me the car's electronic goodies. I would recommend this dealership if you're looking for a straight-forward car buying experience, and the opportunity to work with people like John and Ray Jr will make you happy you stopped in. Great experience My wife Patti and I were searching for a second car to get through a transition where our primary vehicle was being repaired. My wife and I first met My wife Patti and I were searching for a second car to get through a transition where our primary vehicle was being repaired. My wife and I first met Chris in the rainy lot we were just about to leave. Just too wet for a day looking at cars. Chris offered some chairs, coffee, and his extensive knowledge to aid our search and keep things warm and dry. To reassure us that we were not being double teamed he introduced the next blue shirted fellow who met up with us on our way in as Jay who was learning the ropes. At Chris' desk we got down to business and looked t some of the pre-owned cars we had been looking at. We had been quite taken with a particular Jalapeño green Spark. Chris pointed out to us that we could have a new Spark for just a little more that the used one would cost. We took a test drive in a 2014 Spark from the lot with Jay in the back seat on the outbound leg I set the XM radio to my wife's favorite station. After the test drive we haggled and laughed sharing our lives and doing a little business as we went. When the dust cleared we had decided on a Grape Ice Spark 2LT. It was at another dealer so we would need to come back for it. I commented to Chris that we had a rental from Enterprise and he without a pause told us he would get us a loaner until the new vehicle had arrived, and have enterprise pick up their car from the lot. We finished the paperwork and Jay set out to get the loaner. We shook hands and Chris told us he would call as soon as he knew when the car would be in Fox Lake. When my wife and started the Eqiunox that was the loaner the radio was set to my wife's favorite station a great and personal touch by Jay who remembered it from our test drive. The next day we picked up the car and got more great help from Chris and Jay as well as a lightning speed paperwork session with an amiable Dan Loggins. After that we had a sit down with Ray the third who gave us the birdseye lowdown on all the technical features setting up our Onstar and showing us the infotainment system. It was a great, low pressure experience that I will remember for some time thanks and make sure all of the above mentioned get a good pat on the back for a job well done. Tim and Patti Ferguson More
