Best Luxury Car Buying Mike Marinelli is by far one of the most professional, courteous, respectful salesperson i have met in my lifetime. He is by far one of the best examples to follow if i was a new salesperson looking to sell cars! My buying experience started all the way back in June of 2016 and i had started out in wanting to test drive a base cayman that was on the lot. I went to Ray Catena on a whim. Having test driven the base Cayman and how Mike understood the type of car i was coming from 2014 Mustang GT, Mike went one step further by offering me the chance to also test drive a Boxster GTS. What makes Mike standout is his ability to understand a customer background and goes the extra step in educating and providing another sample to gauge a customer reaction. He could of easily hand down go back into the showroom to talk about numbers. Mike mindset is more of, what else can i show this person so that they can understand the Porsche brand and would this meet the needs of this specific customer? The other extra step that Mike went that is exemplary is when the new 718 Boxster came out the following week for dealer display. He went and called me excited to talk about how this car came in and how i should come in for a test drive to see what i think. Mike is great at paying attention to a customer emotional reaction to a product and wants the customer to make the best informed decision! Unlike other Porsche dealers who may see me as a younger buyer, tire kicker. Mike takes his time to get know the customer and even encourages the customer to drive a little harder to experience the car fully. That being said, i placed an order in November for a built slot for March and had Mike review the list of options i was considering. Mike is also not afraid to voice his opinions on what options he feels is worth buying and what options that may not be worth considering. I really admire Mike ability to be a fashion consultant in this sense instead of just being silent. Throughout all this, Mike was always enthusiastic to greet me on multiple follow up visits and kept his word on any verbal promises on what he can do for me. He is a rare breed in an industry full of bad apples. I took a risk in trusting Mike word versus in the past, i made sure salespeople wrote promises on a buyer order sheet. Working with Mike, you will not be disappointed in how he treats you. Its true that he looks to be a friend in a genuine way. I would not hesitate buying from him again or referring other young professionals to him, hands down. I first heard from Maurizio Biondo the morning after I submitted my late night inquiry. He immediately helped me with every question I had about cars coming in or ordering a new one. Met with Maurizio and Eddie Mayorga, the Sales Manager, in the afternoon and bought a car within an hour. Was told it could be in within 10 days. 7 days later received a call from Maurizio and John that the car was going to be in that night. Went to pick it up the next afternoon and John Algarin had everything perfect and ready to go, I was in and out with a full explanation of the 2017 Panamera in about an hour. These guys are all Terrific! If all goes well with the new Porsche, I'll be back. More
