I actually had an appt for oil change with different LR dealer in the area on black Friday and when I was about to go, found out they made an appt on the day their service dept is closed. I immediately called Ray Catena Land Rover where I am leasing Range Rover Sport, explained where I do not have appt and if there's a possibility to take me in. I spoke to Helen and she said to come in but to be aware there will be wait. came in, straight fwd process and I was in dealership for about 4 hours but got it done. Outstanding service department that exemplifies why you pay a little more for a high end vehicle. Doug Bertrand went out of his way to not only ensure we had an (unscheduled) loaner; but, he had out Land pay a little more for a high end vehicle. Doug Bertrand went out of his way to not only ensure we had an (unscheduled) loaner; but, he had out Land Rover repaired well in advance of end of day, which enabled our family to continue on with our commitments, without interruption - splendid! My experience showed them to be unethical and deceptive. Always get a second opinion when dealing with the service department here. My 2016 Range Rover HSE diesel was brought in with a DEF warning that bas Always get a second opinion when dealing with the service department here. My 2016 Range Rover HSE diesel was brought in with a DEF warning that basically said poor quality DEF detected, car will not start in xxx miles. My service relationship manager (different from the actual service technician) called me back promptly and said that a new catalytic converter system was needed and the cost would be $6,900. Of course I questioned whether or not they had exhausted all other options including simply cleaning 02 sensors and I was told that they had & because it's a diesel the 02 & DEF sensors could not be cleaned alone without the whole system being replaced. Knowing a good amount about cars, this didn't sound right to me so I decided to take it to a local and trusted place that specializes in high-end foreign cars. There the tech performed all the necessary tests I had expected LandRover to do as well as removed and cleaned the DEF sensors (something I was told was not possible). Problem fixed, car runs great and the total bill was $701. Seriously a difference of almost $6,200. Bottom line is I would not trust this place if your car is not under warranty. More

Let me tell you why: 1) The deal: The Defender is a popular truck right now. As it should be--it's really the only of it's kind. A perfect blend of past and present. Sanchit and Alan offered me an aggressive deal as a first offer. It was considerably better than another local dealer I called. They were fair, equitable and transparent in how they worked with me. 2) The customer service: Sanchit was so easy to deal with. Almost the entire process was handled electronically, with my preferred communication method of SMS. He anticipated my needs and questions, and met them almost before I realized them. 3) The delivery: Once Sanchit showed up at my doorstep with the truck, it was instantly clear that Sanchit loved Land Rover and the Defender possibly more than any other human on earth. Sanchit was patient with me as he showed off all of the cool stuff about the truck that I had no idea about. He did this A+ delivery at my house. 40 miles away from where he works. He didn't leave until everything was perfect. And it was. More
