My salesperson was very knowledgeable about the car and shared my excitement with me. He helped me choose the smartest payment option, and later a sales rep lowered it even more for me. It was the first snow fall of the year and the roads were icy. A car ran a stop sign and I had to hit my breaks and I sled and hit the curb. I called Rapids and they help me get a tow to the shop. Once there icy. A car ran a stop sign and I had to hit my breaks and I sled and hit the curb. I called Rapids and they help me get a tow to the shop. Once there they went above and beyond to accommodate me and called everyone to find me a rental until my vehicle could be fixed. I can’t say thank you enough to Everyone at Rapids Honda. I should have believed the reviews on this site about Rapids Honda in Coon Rapids, MN. I went in this morning and started talking with a sales person. When went inside the Sales Manager, Scott Anderson i Rapids Honda in Coon Rapids, MN. I went in this morning and started talking with a sales person. When went inside the Sales Manager, Scott Anderson involved himself in our conversation. He then took over the sales conversation. He spent most of the time talking down to me and being argumentative. He told me he had the best price and when I presented him with online prices he became very abrasive. I tried to make an offer and he laughed at me. He then said he would go talk to the owner. I have no idea if this is true. He was gone long enough that the sales person even was curious what was taking him so long and went to find him. He then came back and was dismissive and cut off the conversation and acted very unprofessional. I'm confused why he was involved since I was looking at a preowned and that Manager was available to work with us. I was there to buy a car today. Be ready to pay more than they have the car listed or tell you on the phone. The dealer will add on a lot of accessory to increase the price of the car that is not shown in the sale price. The dealers decision to add on items should not be the financial responsibility of the customer. The vehicle price was high, they are not willing to negotiate at all and the customer service was horrible. I'm amazed that the Owner, Dealer Principle, and General Manager allow him to work with customers after all of the complaints on this site. More
