Why have I taken the time to write this experience......on October 18th, we were involved in a motor vehicle accident. We are from Pennsylvania and going through South Dakota and had enjoyed the Corn Palace, Cabela's, Badlands and were on our way to Crazy Horse when we were rear ended by what we call here a Box truck....the truck that carries mail from one Post Office to another. My 11 year old son Christopher and Uncle were transported to Rapid City Regional via Hill City EMS, my husband and dog stayed with the vehicle. We were blessed that the vehicle was towed to Rapid Chevrolet. I can't tell you how stressful it was having us separated. After Christopher and Uncle released from the hospital, the taxi cab driver took me to Rapid Chevrolet. How can I describe the comfort I felt as I walked in the door and greeted by my husband, Isabella (the dog) and my new best friend Ron Burney. Sir as I called him was a blessing from above, he was not concerned about the sale but about how we fared as a result of the accident. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and got us set up with a new Suburban. I have been a Chevy gal for the past 15 years and never in all those years have I worked with such a wonderful sales person. Sir...aka Mr. Burney took care of all the details and walked us through the process. Mr. Burney is my "Salesman of the Year". I will never (and why yes ask my husband I like new vehicles(2 Tahoes, 1 Traverse, 1 Avalanche, 1 Suburban---not my first Chevy rodeo) forget the comfort and care he provided. To have a new vehicle in such a short amount of time and get back to the family was a relief that can't be described. We did finish our vacation but that would not have been possible if we had not landed at Rapid Cheverlot and met with Mr. Burney. Rapid Chevrolet....you are a CLASS act!! I can't tell you how many people we have told the story and that there are still good people in America. God Bless Mr. Burney and Rapid Chevrolet. More

We had an ignition switch go bad in our visit to the Black Hills from Michigan. I got it into the dealership before they opened. They had absolutely no interest in the problem or the fact that we were 1 Black Hills from Michigan. I got it into the dealership before they opened. They had absolutely no interest in the problem or the fact that we were 1200 miles from home in a Chevy motor home. The service man just said they could not look at it that day. How couldn't provide an estimate of when they could and didn't have any suggestions on where we could take it for repair. They were pulling rental cars out of the work bays while we waited and there were no other trucks waiting with us for service. I have never been treated so badly by an auto service department. I didn't expect anyone to drop everything they were doing to help a family of out of towers, but this was an incredible experience. It speaks directly to the people working at this dealership. Obviously, I'll never be back. After breaking down again later because the switch was not replaced by Rapid, we found a repair shop who effected the repairs to get us home. No thanks to Rapidchevrolet. More

Bob was very professional and courteous. Put me at ease immediately, felt like I was talking with an old friend! He was very knowledgable of my Silverado and explained all the "buttons and knobs" so I coul immediately, felt like I was talking with an old friend! A very pleasing experience. Jerry Maguire over exerted himself in obtaining finance, and taking care of business in general, and Chad added the finishing touches.
