Just purchased a used Toyota Matrix and was very pleased with everyone I dealt with at Gerry Wood Kia---Brad, Steven and Mark. Everyone was easy to work with and I felt no pressure to buy. I was not lookin with everyone I dealt with at Gerry Wood Kia---Brad, Steven and Mark. Everyone was easy to work with and I felt no pressure to buy. I was not looking forward to buying a vehicle because of the pressure and constant haggling that I have endured in the past. I did not endure any of this at Gerry Wood Kia. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More

Broken promises Our experience with this dealership was highly unprofessional, unethical and full of empty promises. Upon our first test drive we were told that thei Our experience with this dealership was highly unprofessional, unethical and full of empty promises. Upon our first test drive we were told that their current promotion was a full year gas card. Two days later we came in for another look at the vehicle and went for a second test drive and we once again confirmed that we would obtain the one year gas card. Our salesman also told us they offer a loaner car for all service appts. I thought this was a bit much from a Kia dealership so when the sales manager Blair came and spoke with us I questioned the loaner car and he literally laughed and said no. Our salesman quickly looked at Blair and my family and said sorry he did not know. At this point we were negoiting the price of the car and not once but twice the keys were taken from our desk and the vehicle was taken for test drives, I find this highly unprofessional. The vehicle had a $4995 market adjustment due to supply and demand, I said from the beggining I would not be purchasing the vehicle with that additional fee, I didn't need a car so I had time to wait. We advised not only our salesman but also Blair that the manufactors sticker added the price of the mud guard and rubber mats on the vehicle but the dealership sticker added on those two items AGAIN but with a major price increase (buyers please double check your stickers when purchasing a car from this dealer!!!). They finally agree to give a car discount on the vehicle instead of lowering the actual starting purchase price. We were $250 off of where we wanted to be so we decided to leave. Upon walking out the door Blair felt the need to tell anyone that he passed that I was walking from the deal over $250. I have never been announced upon exiting a dealership before. A couple hours later we received a call from our salesman stating they would come down the $250 and give us an extra $150 for our trouble if we would sign that night. Upon signing on the 'we owe you' form I asked our salesman what about the 1yr gas card...he said that will be given in finance the owe you form is something he owes us. We go to finance well after the dealership closed and I forgot to ask and finance never gave the gas card to us. The next business day I emailed finance and the response was we did not receive it because of discounts given. Well that is not what was promised. I emailed Mr. Lovelace my concerns and received call from Josh K who talked down to me the entire time and when I mentioned that I had texts from our salesman admitting fault he said he would talk to him the next day and call me back but assured me that no gift card would be given. He then emailed me and forwarded me the 'owe you` form that had been written on/altered after my signature. I assume that changing the content of a form after date and signature is considered professional and legal with this dealership. Still have not received this call back. I absolutely love the product that was sold but would never advise anyone to utilize this dealership for your car buying experience More
