Bought our first Honda this year from another dealer, but visited here for routine maintenance and had a great experience. Check-in was easy, nice waiting area, people were friendly. We bought our vehicle HondaTrue Pre-Owned Certified that came with a complementary oil change. The employee wasn't certain about that when I checked-in, but he looked into it for me during the service visit and confirmed that it was covered. We'll continue doing business here. More
The dealership was very nice and had a pleasing environment. I think communication between departments could use some work. Tim and Jon are both very personable gentlemen, however, there were some delays and misunderstandings with the sale. My husband and I had two appointments set up with Tim and both times Tim called or texted to delay or change our meetings. We were feeling a bit like we were being put off for someone or something else. When we went to pick up the new car (7/3) the added extras were not on the car which was very disappointing. We left the car and picked it up at a later date after the holiday. We did however go to finance and put a deposit down that same day without taking our new car home. On the finance end we paid 10k down and we let Jon know we were planning on paying the balance off as soon as the money was transferred to my account from my other savings account. Jon took my 10k check that day. When we went in to pick up the car after the door guards were installed, (7/8) we had intended to pay off the balance and we were told we couldn't for 90 days. We weren't told this at the original finance meeting. Tim called after we were home telling us we could pay off the car before the 90 days and that they were wrong about telling us that we had to wait 90 days but the balance had to be paid through Honda Financial. I had no information on how or where Honda Financial (phone number, address or email) was at in order to pay it off. Tim sent me the phone number for Honda Financial upon my request. It seems we should have had all that information upon leaving the sales room and putting the 10K down. Jon could take my 10k check that day but couldn't accept the balance 4 days later, this doesn't seem right. Setting up the online account was not easy . I had no idea what our account number was in order to set the account up. When I did get ahold of Honda Financial the man at Honda Finance assisting me was very helpful with this. Again, it seems Jon or Tim could have helped set that account up or given some guidance on how to the set the account up, they already had all personal information any way. The contract sheet at the time of the sale is sort of misleading, the extras like door guards and floor mats were listed as extras. We weren't told that floor mats would be extra charge. After all we left two sets of floor mats in our trade in. The sale seemed very complicated in many respects. Tim was very apologetic on all matters and was wonderful on explaining the new features on the car to us. Hopefully, these comments are used in a useful purpose and not harming either one of the employees mentioned. So far I'm pleased with the car. I have had two other Hondas in the past and have always been very pleased with them. More
