Fun Experience Working with Curnow was a fun experience. The staff made sure I was comfortable with my new vehicle and didn't rush me in to a quick transaction. They got my headlight fixed pretty quickly and also di was good overall. John was my service technician, and he was very friendly and professional. They got my headlight fixed pretty quickly and also did a whole inspection on my car and recommended what I should do in the future. They also let me know how I can schedule service online and get special offers. More
Well, the wife and I both bought our vehicles from here, the second I advised against. These guys are slick and friendly but no good at their word. My vehicle was the first purchased. All around a sound veh the second I advised against. These guys are slick and friendly but no good at their word. My vehicle was the first purchased. All around a sound vehicle minus some cig burns and some body damage on the front and rear. I requested the required trans service which they refused to do knowing it needed a simple maintenance service, fine, I trust my transmission guy and had them do it. HOWEVER, they did promise to fix the dent in the hood over and over, even when they put it down on paper work as SCRATCHES, I corrected them and said it's a dent not just scratches and the salesman assured me it would be fixed. Well I dropped the car off and it never got fixed and was informed when i picked up my vehicle they were only going to touch up the dent and not fix it.... I can do that with some white out and get the same result. They never followed through on anything and after servicing the transmission and putting new brakes on 5 months later my car is great thanks to my own efforts, even had to have an alignment done myself since it was way off. My wife's vehicle is far worse. She bought a Saturn Vue, that had been wrecked very badly. She was never informed and this thing was in rough shape, I mean rough. Drive shaft was loose, fog light is busted and they aren't capable of fixing it even though its been in twice for it (maybe they just don't have anyone that can work on cars), she was promised a fixed cup holder, her paint job fixed due to scratches and the foglight fixed. None of those things have been fixed yet and we've had the car all summer, since about april maybe. The vehicle was involved in an accident so bad that when she bought it the air box was smashed, it had a brand new headlight, you could tell where the unibody had been bashed in on the passenger front corner. the car was never properly repaired because the front end is visibly off, and when you open the drivers' door it catches on the front driver quarter, and they have no desire to fix any of this. On top of all of this, my brother in law purchased a truck from them and was promised certain repairs to the bed, they refused once the paperwork was signed. My brother purchased a car from them, it had transmission problems, they pulled a shady garage move and rigged his transmission so it would work for a little longer, when it busted again they lied about fixing it not counting on him being an ASE certified mechanic, they still fought him on it and the car needed a new transmission. So buyer beware, looks shiny on the lot but know what you're looking at, because any vehicle purchased here is AS IS, they have no desire to fix anything once you sign. More
I walked onto the lot interested in looking at a couple of their used Sierras with low miles and well within my price range. I was greeted by a salesman named Lee who made me feel the entire time like I wa of their used Sierras with low miles and well within my price range. I was greeted by a salesman named Lee who made me feel the entire time like I was putting him out by showing me these trucks I was very interested in buying. After looking them over he asked if I wanted to go in and possibly talk about business and then take a test drive. When inside he tried to get me to sign a form that would have locked me into buying the truck if they were able to meet the payments I was looking for, however he failed to explain this until I dug deeper to find out what I was signing, even though I had told him I just wanted to see what we could work out and possibly look at payment-wise. When I refused to sign the form he asked a couple of very condescending questions about my seriousness in buying. After that he handed me his card and told me I should go look into the other options I had and if I was serious about doing business to come back and talk to him. I was never offered the test drive Lee told me about. I walked right out of there and drove to a Ford dealership, as I was interested in the F-150 as well, where I was greeted with a completely different experience. I ended up buying a truck that day from the other dealership because they ended up being so willing to work for me. To top it off, a week later I got a notification that they had submitted my credit application anyways and it had rejected, even though my application at Ford had no problems... so now I have that lovely "hit" on my credit report. I would never go back there, even if they were giving away cars and have told all of my friends and coworkers about the terrible experience I had! More
I was sold a Used ACADIA, which was overpriced but was gauranteed a Bumper to Bumper Waranty which was told covered EVERYTHING from BUMPER to BUMPER for a year or so many miles. However after taking the v gauranteed a Bumper to Bumper Waranty which was told covered EVERYTHING from BUMPER to BUMPER for a year or so many miles. However after taking the vehicle in for a check on somethings after a month- they tried charging for the check. Then after 5 months in I am charged for the hatch mechanism and now being charged for things that I asked to be checked the first time like a possible leak- and they want to charge me a few more thousand dollars to take care of the problem- which was told it would be cover in the bumper to bumper warrenty that we agreed on. I would not trust any words coming from this company on the basis of manipulating a gaurantee. More
I was very dissapointed with my experience with this dealership. The sales staff was friendly but the finance representative has a bit of an ego and his tactics are really a turn off. You just do not fe dealership. The sales staff was friendly but the finance representative has a bit of an ego and his tactics are really a turn off. You just do not feel like they really care if they have your buisness or not. I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone and Im actually sad to say that. I have had positive experiences with them several years ago but it has really seemed to decline within the last few years. I left that lot and got the car I wanted at the terms I was comfortable with from another dealership where I actually felt they wanted to sell me a car. More
The lack of accountability as well as responsibility is an insult to your business due to the direct fact that he is a representative of a CAR dealership. He is a total crook and as a finance manager, not an insult to your business due to the direct fact that he is a representative of a CAR dealership. He is a total crook and as a finance manager, not only did he try to add additional finance charges, but he also tried to push an extended warranty without understanding my needs. In the economy we are in and the predicament that the auto industry is in I believe it is very unwise to put your business in jeopardy by using a dishonorable man who is only out to better serve himself and puts the customer on the back burner, if taking them into consideration at all. The main source of generating your income is by referral and there are too many other dealerships in this city for your business to put itself in danger because of his lack of respect, honesty, and credibility.
