I checked in with Mr Josh Pauley who knew my name from the inital scheduling discussion. Mr Joe Dizmang managed my repair. He was friendly and profession. He created reasonable expectations and saw that they were met. While there I got a quote on a new set of tires from him. I will buy them from the Randy Curnow dealership because of the friendly and helpful spirit of their employees. I will seek their assistance with purchasing a new car in the near future. One of the best service experiences I have ever had! I also interfaced with Mr Mike McCabe and enjoyed meeting him. He is the kind of guy with whom I would like to play golf. Absolutely GREAT! We brought our 2009 Buick Lucerne in to have the brakes and the traction system checked out. We had an ll o'clock appointment and got there about 15 We brought our 2009 Buick Lucerne in to have the brakes and the traction system checked out. We had an ll o'clock appointment and got there about 15 minutes early and Josh met us right away. He said they would be doing something necessary to check the traction system immediately, then will know where to start after lunch. My husband was with me. He has Parkinson's and tires easily. The fella who's office is across the hall from the waiting room, brought us water and asked if there was anything he could do for us. He left for lunch and when he came back he had ice cream cups for both of us. He was so kind and considerate. The world would be a better place if there were more people like him. I had asked that they check out everything, all the fluids, tires, the broken rubber on the passenger's rear door. I explained to Josh that I am 80 years old and do all the driving and I wanted everything in good condition. He assured me that it would all be taken care of. I knew it was going to take a while and it was about 5 hours. The brake pads needed replacing, then they took care of everything that they checked out. They also aligned the tires. When they brought the car around for us to leave, I didn't recognize it, it was so nice and clean. Everyone was very nice and it was so nice to know that I didn't have to worry about things for a while. We appreciate the treatment that we've always gotten at Randy Curnow. Anabell Phillips More

Bogus EPA charges I had a check engine light on it ended up being a sensor in my steering wheel. The tech who did the work explained it well what the purpose of the sensor was. Prior to the work being performed I asked how much? They said $391 without tax. I got the bill it was $454. I was charged an additional $25.87, I asked Josh what this charge was he said it was a hazmat fee charged by the EPA. I complained to Burrows that this was not in the work quote and I got my money back I also asked what this "Misc. charge was for, he went into a hazmat explanation. I had my doubts and called the EPA and they said they don't have dealerships and repair shops charge fees. I talked to the service manager after I talked to the EPA and asked about this misc charge. He started off about hazardous materials. I stopped him and advised him that I talked to a Mr. Brown at the local EPA office In KC. The service manager transitioned into the they have to maintain their equipment like the lifts that need lubes, greases, hydraulic fluids and degreasers, towels etc.. I then told him I had a steering wheel sensor replaced and a lift was not used and probably little to no degreasing required. He said they charge 10% up to $25 for this "hazmat fee." It was nice to see a family owned dealership that took pride in their work and paid extra attention to customer service. I would highly recommend them. More
