My first visit was for a recall with something to do with the gas tank. After the repair I found that my gas gauge no longer worked. So I had to return. While the car was there it wouldn’t start after sittin the gas tank. After the repair I found that my gas gauge no longer worked. So I had to return. While the car was there it wouldn’t start after sitting a few days. This is a problem that I have had before for which I had taken it in for service and was told there wasn’t a problem with the car. We had to continually recharge the battery and if it wasn’t driven at least every 2 days it would drain the battery. We gave up and we bought a new battery, but the same thing happened again after the new battery. Then again then car wouldn’t start at your service department (this is now the 3rd time on the new battery), so asked them to check it out again while it was still at your shop. They said the battery had failed (this battery was only 2 months old) and your team replaced the battery, I would have liked to get the battery back and I could have returned for some credit. The most frustrating issue is that this battery draining is a KNOWN Subaru issue. There is at least one class action law suit in another state. I don’t know what “words” you want your service team to use while you find out the problem, but let’s not act like this isn’t a problem and that the customer doesn’t know what is going on. This is my 4th Subaru’s, but I am going to now look outside the Subaru family. More
