Unable to diagnose fairly straightforward problem We took our Forester in for service 4 times over 8 months with the same problem. He waived the last oil check and repair (which was very decent of him). He would then follow up with staff and give me a call back, never heard from him again. Original problem got worse over time, so we took it to two other shops to diagnose. They both agreed it was the same problem. Had one of them perform the work and a day later the problem was gone.
