Recently purchased pre-owned Mercedes with 34,360 miles indicated. CARFAX record indicated Ramey Auto Group performed an Oil and Filter change at 33,766 miles. Inspection of engine oil level showed oil con indicated. CARFAX record indicated Ramey Auto Group performed an Oil and Filter change at 33,766 miles. Inspection of engine oil level showed oil condition to be clean, however removal of oil filter canister revealed a filter cartridge that it was never changed. Filter cartridge was nearly black, indicating that it had been installed for 10 or 15 thousand miles and NOT the 594 miles the maintenance record indicated. Knowing the record of filter change was incorrect called into question whether or not the Mercedes approved full synthetic oil of correct viscosity was even used. A full oil and new filter change with approved parts was performed at my expense. More
Service Dept changed rack and pinion steering to fix steering problem then change front struts to fix steering problem then changed power steering pump to fix the same steering problem then changed stee steering problem then change front struts to fix steering problem then changed power steering pump to fix the same steering problem then changed steering column which was the problem the whole time. Very disappointed and broke. This cost for them changing parts instead of diagnosing the actual problem is Ridiculous. They said the bearings in the steering column had fallen apart. Plus I paid for a diagnosis were they said they could not Duplicate the problem. They need better help. Or maybe they do everyone this way. Bad Business More

August 7 2020. I'm headed from Ohio to North Carolina for my grandmothers funeral. I'm in my 2018 Buick enclave which I purchased brand new and only had 24K miles on the vehicle. My car breaks down about 25 my grandmothers funeral. I'm in my 2018 Buick enclave which I purchased brand new and only had 24K miles on the vehicle. My car breaks down about 25 miles from Princeton, WV. Buick roadside service has the car towed to Ramey Princeton Chevrolet for warranty repair. I called Ramey before my car was towed and ask about a loaner car or how that works because I'm stranded with my children in the height of covid and trying to get to my grandmother's funeral on time. Ramey tells me they do not have loaners so I would have to get a rental. They did not tell me that they will arraign for a rental. So I get a rental and then go to the dealership for my bags so I can get back on the road after this 3 hour delay. When I get to the dealer they tell me they are closed on the weekends and the soonest they can look at the car is Monday (they got the car by tow around noon on Friday) I ask about my bumper to bumper warranty and ask about being reimbursed for the rental. At that point they do call the rental company and have the charges switched to them. I don't hear back from Ramey by Monday afternoon so I call them they tell me they only have one lift and have a car on it so by Tuesday afternoon they should have the car ready or have an answer about what is wrong with the car. The car didn't even get looked at until Wednesday afternoon. After several calls getting GM involved and being stranded over a week out of town, myself and my children missing work, living at a hotel, eating out every meal and hearing everyday that the car would be available tomorrow and that not happening, I told them I have to go back home to Ohio I can't wait any longer.. Long story short my car broke down on 8/7/2020 Ramey did not have the car fixed and returned to me until 08/24/2020. Buick told me Ramey would be sending me a check for my damages (hotel fees, food etc) and after several months without being refunded Buick tells me Ramey won't reimburse me because I took the rental back to Ohio... GM disagreed with Ramey's decision and said that they would reimburse me (6 month later now and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed by Buick) but for Ramey not to put importance on my vehicle repair, drag me along for a week away from home to then keep my car another 10 days after I finally get home and not want to reimburse me because I didn't stay stranded for 3 weeks while they did a warranty repair shows this place is not on the up and up and GM doesn't even back their practices and how they do business. Because of the service I received at Ramey even my dad's 30 years of working in a GM plant and the discount I receive on GM vehicles wasn't enough for me to stay with the brand. Shame on you Ramey Princeton Chevrolet. More
I took my vehicle here for extended warranty coverage I paid. Around 2000 dollars for. I had two problems. But the service person said they could not duplicate it. I had this same problem this time last winter and Ramsey's in rich lands VA said they changed some sensor in the dashboard. But the problem came back this winter. The second problem is when it is cold outside 20s to 40,s. When my temperature control is set at 70,s my car throws out cold air. This is what I told the service guy. Well when I picked it up. They stated they checked it out with a temperature sensor and it constantly put out 140 well on the way down the road going home I realized the temperature was set on high. They checked it on high. Whereas my problem is when it is set on 70,s during cold temperatures. I had stated when I brought it in that I had to put the control over 80 to get hot air. Just so happens last winter Ramsey's in rich lands VA checked this out also and argued then it was because the a!burnt air temperature inside WA near the same temp outside when I stated it happen during colder weather. The one thing I am dissatisfied with is I brought my car here and left with nothing. Fixed. I had to pay a diagnostic fee took half day to take it there and back and wait. After doing the same thong last year. They did not check it out under the conditions I told them. I paid all that money for an extended warranty they won't let me use. And my car had 77000 miles which looks like they putting me off till it expires and I'm stuck with the problem s More

Customer Service A software issue was identified on my 2015 Jeep. A software update was performed, but the issue returned within 48 hours. When I returned for additional service, an update was again performed. Issues were identified completing the initial update. The issue has again returned and the vehicle is again scheduled for repair. After the initial service, I had the opportunity to speak with Patrick, at the Service Desk and Nathan Biggs, Warranty Manager. I think both gentleman listened to my complaints and have given me great Customer Service. The initial charge for service has been refunded. And the vehicle is scheduled again to see if a fix can be found. Prior to this issue, I had found the service department to be less than customer friendly. Working with Patrick and Nathan have certainly changed my mind and I plan to have future routine maintenance and repair work done at the Jeep garage. Employees such as these two are great assets to Ramey Jeep. As a woman, I am especially intimidated in a garage and have often felt somewhat taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge. Because of my experience with Nathan and Patrick, I feel like I have been dealt with very fairly and honestly. Anyone can sell you anything ONCE. It takes folks like these two to guarantee repeat business. More

I appreciated the call, as opposed to receiving a huge bill, unaware of repairs being done without my permission. I was told that this would take approximately 1 1/2 hours. When I returned at 11:30 I asked if the truck was ready. I was told that it was being worked on at that time. I could clearly see that it was not. I waited and asked about the truck at 1:20pm. I was told then that the truck was being worked on again. Could clearly see that it was not moved again. I told them not to touch it to bring the truck outside. They put the truck on the lift and pulled the back left tire off. I told them that I had to get my grandson at 3 pm. I received the truck at 2:15pm. Luckily a family member was close to get my grandson. Thank you for your time. More
