The car dealership did a great job for having a sales representative with the name of Reina who did a very fantastic job. Walked in with a limit of what I could spend and was shown a recent CRV trade in. I was told by the sales rep that he could keep the price within my limit, but the vehicle had to go through an inspectio shown a recent CRV trade in. I was told by the sales rep that he could keep the price within my limit, but the vehicle had to go through an inspection before being sold. I had no issue waiting and was even told the sales manager agreed. After a few days I came back to check the status of the vehicle I was told the vehicle had some safety issues that needed to be corrected but that we were still on track to purchase within the agreed limit. Another day goes by and I check up on the vehicle and I am told the vehicle has brake issues and they are waiting on part, totally understandable and I am assured, despite the amount of repairs that I have their 'word' that the price has not changed. Two days later (at a week now) I check in to Burien Honda and check the status of the vehicle and I am told by the sales rep that the cost of repairing the trade in was costly but that he and his sales manager would "honor the agreement' and I had the sales reps 'word' that we were still within my limit. When the car was finished and ready to be sold I asked if I could come that afternoon to sign the paperwork and pay for the vehicle, so we agreed to meet. When I showed up I was met by the sales rep who told me that the cost of the repairs were too much and that the price of the vehicle would be $1,200 over my limit. I wasn't surprised, given the car salesmen stereotype, but I did put some faith and trust into their 'you have my word' statements. I lost a week of time where I could have purchased elsewhere. Giving your word only works once with me. More

We have been customers of Honda of Burien's service department for years. We set up an appointment today with sales to come in to view a car that I was hoping to purchase. I came in to my appointment o department for years. We set up an appointment today with sales to come in to view a car that I was hoping to purchase. I came in to my appointment on time, only to be told that the people who set up the appointment for me were suddenly too busy to see us. Ok, fine no problem, although that was already dissatisfying because who sets up an appointment for a customer only to dismiss the customer and never even approach them to inform them of the change of scheduling. We were assisted by a nice young man, he showed us the vehicle and we took a quick test drive. We came back in to negotiate price and apply for financing. We had already gotten an offer for the vehicle through Truecar online sales, and there is also the same vehicle in black listed for 30k on the Burien website. We planned on negotiating a deal, as any sane customer does, and eventually coming to a middle ground that works for both dealer as well as myself as the customer. Does that even need to be explained? The young man who was working with us went to talk to sales manager Jose. We heard him scream out "NO THANK YOU" very loudly and rudely so that we could hear him from where we were sitting 15 feet away. Along with every other person in the dealership to hear as well. At that point, it was clear that our business was not valued nor respected. Who screams out when the young man was going to come over and talk to us anyways? Isn't the point of car sales to negotiate a fair price and come back with a different offer? All we got was a loud, disrespectful NO THANK YOU while our back was to the sales manger Jose, 15 feet away. I didn't know it was a crime to put in an initial offer then get a counter offer. Maybe that's just the way Burien treats their customers screaming at them across the room and berating them. Wow. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere as there are a multitude of other respectable dealerships that will value our dollar and sell us the vehicle we are ready to purchase at a fair price. It was honestly shocking and appalling to be treated like that, and we will definitely be spreading the word on Jose. More
This was by far and above the easiest car purchase we've ever made. Our sales professional Josh was extremely helpful, friendly and made the whole experience completely no-pressure and fun. We were able to quickly come to terms that exceeded our expectations and the whole thing took less than 90 minutes including test drive.
