Jack Pennington is the friendliest, most accomodating service manager I have ever met. In an effort to provide a level of service that turns customers into loyal customers he emphasizes to his departmen service manager I have ever met. In an effort to provide a level of service that turns customers into loyal customers he emphasizes to his departments' employees what it takes to make a "customer," a "loyal customer." In a word...integrity. He and his department take full responsibility for what they do. If it is fixed right the first time, no one ever hears about it, but if it isn't fixed right the first time...EVERYBODY HEARS ABOUT IT, but in a way that is non-threatening, and it becomes a learning experience, and not a witch hunt, or accusational, public blood letting. Jack has the best possible resources, too. he has 3 technicians that are the most talented I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Randal Fenton is the shop foreman, and the encyclopaedia/genius/master technician whose knowledge, and level headed, un-emotional, tactful, meaningful explanations are, in almost every case the right ones...period. Robert Sween, a deeply talented, and entertaining technician who can explain the most complicated system/component in a simple, distinctly refreshing, and entertaining way, and it will be right on the money. Sean Ash, a serious, detail oriented technician with experience in independent repair situations...professionally, that have rounded him into the one guy that, if one of the technicians, or salespeople, or finance people need something done on their own car, by golly they want Sean to do it, because it will be done right, will work right, and it will be done efficiently...ie., on time. The personnel within Mr. Penningtons' department are second to none. It is my understanding that there are 2 more technicians with combined experince, in Volkswagen, Porsche, and Nissan that combine to OVER 50 years...in just 2 men...Dave, and Tom. Without question, if you want your Volkswagen fixed correctly, and as soon as is humanly possible, then Pignataro Volkswagen is your ONLY choice in Washington state. Unequivocally, they are the best at what they do. In a business that handles the mysterious combination or emotional attachment for a customer to his, or her car, and the downright mechanical, cut, and dried mechanism involved, there is no other place to get a feeling of understanding for your "attachment," and the unemotional mechnical "coldness" of a machine balanced out. I have never been disappointed, and I have personally bought a GTI, a Passat, and a "New Beetle" convertible, and my ex-wife even bought a car, used, an Audi, and has it serviced there too, with great reviews, and expectations not disappointed. Joe, and Tony Pignataro are excellent owners, because they reward, and retain talented people. I think most everybody that works for them are some of the best at whatever they do. Freindly goes a long way, and everybody is freindly. More
