After couple months I decided to take a car to a local mechanic since I have a weird smell from the engine and tapping noise. The dealership when I asked about it they say that was normal. Anyhow I don’t use the car really often but finally I decided to check it with someone that knows about cars and engine… anyway, the problem was that they put wrong oil in my car. And it cost me almost 200$ for the diagnosis and filter and oil replacement. Lucky I didn’t drove much. It could have caused more damage to the engine. More
One of my most enjoyable and refreshingly honest car purchasing experiences ever! Easy to work with on the price and not once was there even a hint of any unethical/dishonest tactics that I have experie purchasing experiences ever! Long story short: 1. This dealership puts a LoJack on all new and used cars, and they make you pay for it ($798). If you argue with them (it may take a while, though), they will remove the LoJack and eliminate the fee. 2. They tell you it is a certified car (CPO) in every way, but it is actually not. They won't tell you this is not a certified car unless you are careful enough to find out there is nothing related to CPO when you sign the documents. 3. Looking for somewhere else if you want to be treated honestly and truthfully. 4. If you still want to buy a car from them, record all conversations between you and the sales guy. Otherwise, they will deny whatever promises they made. Full story: We found a used car online at this dealership on Saturday. On Sunday morning, we called to check availability and confirmed it was available. During the call, we were told that this was a CPO car. Before and during the test drive, we confirmed this was a CPO car. The sales guy even corrected me that CPO provides a 7-year/100K miles Powertrain warranty since the day the CPO car was sold instead of the day the first buyer bought it. It made us extremely happy and confident with the purchase. We asked for the price to upgrade the 7-year/100K powertrain warranty to a 7-year/100K bumper-to-bumper warranty. Blaine told us it would cost roughly $2,300, and he emphasized that it is a great deal because the dealership has already covered the cost for the 7-year/100K powertrain warranty for a CPO car. The test drive went really well, and we decided to negotiate the price. We were presented the CPO Vehicle Inspection Checklist and we confirmed the brake pad and tiles data, together with a quote that included the 7-year/100K bumper-to-bumper warranty and the LoJack. The cost of the 7-year/100K bumper-to-bumper warranty went up to $3,200+. We asked why, and Blaine said it varies car by car. It is what it is. We decided not to purchase it. We want to take the LoJack ($798) off because we don't need it. That's when we were told that is not possible. They sell all cars with it. We knew that only the documentation fee and license fee were mandatory. Everything else is an optional add-on. We insisted we did not need the LoJack. They were like, 'This is our bottom line; it is totally okay that you don't buy.' We started getting a bit angry because this was obviously a bait-and-switch scam. We came here for the price advertised, not the price plus the LoJack price. They finally agreed to talk to their GM. We got a call the day after that telling us the LoJack could be taken off, and the fee could be eliminated. We were happy and went there the second day. We have all the paperwork in front of us. And I found nothing related to CPO. I asked, and the sales guy told me it was not a CPO! He said the car went through the CPO Vehicle Inspection Checklist, but it is not a CPO car! And they won't certify it. I argued, but nothing changed. We left angrily, and I said I would write a negative (and true) review on all platforms. After we walked out the door, a customer service guy stopped us and explained how they find CPO doesn't benefit their customers at all, so they don't certify cars. He talked a lot and just played that bad-guy good-guy game, trying to make us not leave bad reviews. We are first-time car buyers. We were warned by our friend that buying a used car can be very tricky. We thought our friend was a bit old school and the dealership would value their reputation in current days. Obviously, this is not true. They are still trying their best to make you pay more than you need to. Today (one day after we walked out their door), the price of that car was reduced by $800. Guess they are just trying to se More
I had a conversation with Keely Ballintine about possibly buying a Subaru Crosstrek. She was really helpful and answered all my questions about the vehicle patiently. I mentioned that I have a new puppy and buying a Subaru Crosstrek. She was really helpful and answered all my questions about the vehicle patiently. I mentioned that I have a new puppy and she gave me information about all the pet-friendly products available. We also talked about financing with a trade-in. When I'm ready to finance the Subaru Crosstrek, I plan to get in touch with her again. More

He LISTENED to what we wanted out of a vehicle and directed us to three different vehicles that were just what we wanted. The hardest thing was deciding which one we wanted. His knowledge of the features of each was spot on. We only made one stop! Thank you for the positive experience! More

We scheduled an appointment and met Tim a few days later. His approach made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. There was no pressure and he was very accommodating. The rest of the staff at the dealership were very friendly and hospitable even offering snacks to our 5 year old. Even after pre negotiating the price of the vehicle, they were willing to work to cover the cost of a glass replacement as well. They kept their promises and replaced the glass as well as fueling up the car after missing that pre delivery the day of purchase. Overall we had a great experience! Two take aways for the future that could have made it exceptional: 1. Time between finalizing the agreement and getting into the finance office was a bit long, especially with a young child. 2. We had difficulty communicating with the service department to schedule the glass replacement due to staffing challenges. Regardless of those two things, I believe 5 stars is warranted and I would recommend them, as well as Tim, in the future. Thanks for a great experience! More

Instead, it turned into a non-stop comedy of errors with levels of (rhymes with duckery) far beyond my imagination. We have had a lease on our Subaru since 2019, and now that we are at the end, we simply wanted to buy out the rest of the remaining value. Our buyout amount was $12, 825.19. This amount was confirmed by both the Subaru dealership where we ultimately completed the lease buyout, as well as a Honda dealership where we went in extreme frustration immediately after leaving Rairdon's Subaru in Auburn. The very kind, if inexperienced sales rep who was assisting us brought back an offer from the finance team with APR terms that were acceptable to us, but we noticed that the overall amount listed for purchase was $16,158.95 - quite a leap from the actual buyout amount. After taxes, this brought the total due to $18,757.14. When we expressed concern about these numbers, we were assured by the sales representative that this included the dealership's safety checks, detailing etc. We reiterated that we were simply buying out our lease, and driving that same car off the lot in the current condition it arrived in. When we asked to discuss this further with the manager who was quoting the high amount, we were told flatly that "he doesn't want to come talk to you." This same manager, Don Nguyen, then walked outside in front of the dealership. Not understanding how a dealership could add an extra $3300 to the cost, we asked a second time for the manager to do us the courtesy of discussing this with us. Don walked in, clearly unhappy to have been forced to deal with customers, and he informed us that he had checked with Subaru, and our payoff amount was over $14,000 (this was both wrong AND less than the $16,000+ they were trying to get from us). When we let him know this was incorrect and did not include the additional amount paid during a lease extension, he flat out told us we were wrong, and he told us we could either pay the $16,158.95 or pay a penalty for going over our lease which was set to end in a few days. My understandably frustrated husband stood up and pushed his chair back to the desk with a little extra oompf. Don then proclaimed that "everything is recorded" as if this was some act of aggression, and he told us we were no longer welcome on the premises. Dear buyer, I am here to tell you that today, the same day as our quote from Rairdon's Subaru, we completed our buyout of the same lease on the same vehicle at Walker's Renton Subaru a few miles away for a grand total of $14,444.01. This was based on the ACTUAL buyout amount of $12,825.19. After taxes, this is a $4,313.13 difference!!! We confirmed with the finance manager at the second location that we were truly quoted a false amount and that they were not doing us a favor in some way. The identical payoff quote from Honda reaffirmed this amount, but the audacity of Rairdon's still seemed too outrageous to be true. What we were told is that any amount over the actual buyout would be profit for the dealership plain and simple. Unless you like to be lied to, gaslit, and ripped off, steer clear of this dealership. They don't count on you having copies of their shady lies to share publicly, but I am including the Honda quote, the Rairdon's Subaru of Auburn quote as well as our yellow copy of the actual receipt of our purchase after hours and hours of difficulty. Lured in by cheap online pricing. I asked for a solid out the door quote, since I was buying over the internet without even looking at the Legacy I wanted to purchase. The online pri I asked for a solid out the door quote, since I was buying over the internet without even looking at the Legacy I wanted to purchase. The online price beat any dealer in the Inland NW by at least $2,000. Gave them the $500 holding deposit that they wanted. When I arrived to sign the paperwork and pick up the car, I was totally shocked. They didn't even tell me, but the out the door price was now $7,000 more than what was agreed on. Eventually I was able to knock down that price to $2,000 more than what was agreed on. (I made them take off GAP insurance, extended warranty, and 5.9% interest rate). There was a 0% financing rate available, but the salesperson automatically told me I would not qualify, so that is why they made my interest rate 5.9%. I made them run the financing at 0% even though another salesperson laughed and said, "no way they will ever qualify for that". When the financing came back as "approved" for 0%, the salesperson did not even attempt to apologize for automatically disqualifying us. The $2000 extra (over what was agreed on) could not be taken off. Because they said it was an automatic charge for upholstery coating, and Serial number stamping on discrete parts of the car (supposedly to help with theft). I should have walked out of the dealership at that point, because I felt like I was getting ripped off. But it was too late because they had already taken my trade in and started work on it. A day after I took the car home, the GM of sales called me and asked how my buying experience was. I told him that it was horrible, and I would never come back to, or recommend this dealership to anyone. The GM then told me he would like to do whatever was possible to earn my 100% satisfaction. I told him, "Then give me back the $2,000 you ripped me off". Because I had documentation to prove I was over charged from what I had agreed on. After that the GM told me it was standard practice to add those extras on every car, so everyone pays it regardless of out the door price. So, I replied, "yah standard practice to rip people off" and he hung up the phone on me. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you like getting ripped off. More
