We understand you are upset, it is an unfortunate event. An event that we lose on also. We lost an opportunity for a sale and to gain a customer. Selling New Nissan cars is how we make a living, not financing cars. Financing is handled by NMAC and Nissan USA. They are the people who provide you with the rebates and financing. Or, in this case lack of financing. NMAC denied your loan based off of your loan criteria. We honored all of our agreements to the selling price and trade value. We never asked you to pay more money for the Versa. We are caught in the middle when NMAC denies a consumer credit. In those instances we will always try to find a comparable finance package, which is exactly what Bob tried to do for you. A good way to look at it is. You can go to a bank for financing, but still need to go a dealership to buy a car. The reverse is also true you can buy a car from a dealership, but still need to go to a bank to get financing. They work hand in hand, and yes sometimes you can get one but not the other.
