Went to look at a 2012 used Subaru Legacy. Called ahead and was given a time to come down to meet with “JD”. When I arrived at the dealer I was told he no longer worked there and met with Noah Called ahead and was given a time to come down to meet with “JD”. When I arrived at the dealer I was told he no longer worked there and met with Noah. Was told the car was in the service dept. and that I would not be able to look at it or test drive it until the next day. Noah told me that the service dept. had found a head gasket leak. Noah backtracked and said it was a “seep” but refused to show me the service dept. inspection. Test drove the car and had a pre-buyer inspection done at a certified Subaru dealer (which Rairdon’s staff got upset about). Found out the car required a complete engine re-seal which would cost $5000. Rairdon refused to acknowledge the true extent of work needed and doubled down on the “seep” story-refusing to fix known issues that will lead to significant issues for the buyer. Very shady sales and service staff-BEWARE! More
We have done business with them for 13yrs. . service has been good.. but over the last year. And got heated and one of the salesperson there called him a FAT PIG!! I AM APPAULD by the lack of professionalism and to the owner that lets someone that works for them to allow such lack of respect to any person.. the proper way to handle the situation would be to calm the customer down and talk to them.. but i guess these days there is no respect to people or professionalism!!.. 100% do not recommend. On my way home from picking up the vehicle a noise started from underneath. My driveshaft was hanging on by a thread with my 2 year old in the car. Everything was great. My only complaint was whoever drove my car after the oil change, moved the seat all the way back and tilted way back like a teenager would. Absolutely amazing staff top to bottom. Drove from another state to get the car because they are fair, honest and wonderful to deal with. Never had a better sales experience and will definitely return even if I move across country as good people are hard to find. Love our new Honda Pilot. More
Wonderful service from everyone! Oswald, my salesman, was honest, patient, and went to bat for me when my car had a little trouble the first week. Where ever he sales cars from me and my 175 person family will follow! The finance guy talked me into an extended warranty, which I usually never get, but it was a fair price for an excellent plan. I want to hug him every time I go in there. Best decision ever. Now, this is where the story gets interesting. I bought the car in March and I have only had it in my possession 2 and a half months. It was in and out of service the first month 3 times. However, with the extended warranty there had not been any out of pocket costs. Honda even paid to tow it in one of the times when the alternator broke twice in a row. I had a beautiful loaner vehicle each time. The third time the alternator belt broke, I was done with trusting the vehicle I selected. I knew it was used, but that particular car was cursed! The dealership put me back into another loaner which I had for sometime as we tried to find another vehicle and I dreaded the day they fixed mine once again. THIS FANTASTIC, CARING, THOUGHTFUL group of people/ establishment offered to give me back a trade value equal to my purchase to get me into another vehicle. It is now December and I will be going in to get a new vehicle. Thank you Honda of Sumner for taking the “hustle” and “shakedown” out of cars sales. I will be forever grateful! Crystal More
