Pullman Washington, Lewiston Idaho, Thousand Oaks California could not do the job. Alas, two years later a diamond in the grass was found, Marysville Honda came to the rescue. In two days the airbags were ordered and installed. They also went beyond the call of duty and noticed a nail in a tire and repaired it. They even washed the Element. No charge. The service department staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. More

Since I now live on an island off the Washington mainland, I have no way of getting from my new home to the ferry and then around the mainland and renting a car was just getting too expensive. For the last couple of weeks, I have been researching used SUV's through Edmunds.com, Carfax.com, KBB.com and the various independent dealerships within 50 miles of my new home. It seemed that everything with under 100,000 miles, under $7k, and a reputation for dependability was sold within a few days and I would have to start the process over. The day I arrived, I did my search yet again and narrowed it down to three dealerships that seemed to have SUV's that would meet my criteria. The first one sold the last car that I was interested in and that left two. I contacted Alisa King at Honda of Marysville and made an appointment for the next morning. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and helpfully sent me information about the car as well as directions to the dealership. The second salesperson at the Lynnwood dealership had three cars I was interested in so I saved his visit for last. My test drive with Alisa was very pleasant. She was finishing up a test drive with another couple but had the receptionist let me know it would be a few minutes. I was impressed by her courtesy with the other couple as it seemed that they are regular test drive takers and not imminent purchasers. Alisa knew a lot about the car, even though it was a Hyundai, not a make that they usually deal with. She pulled the Carfax report for me so I could see the previous history, which is unusual for a salesperson to do. She also offered me two oil changes and a tire rotation to sweeten the deal. If I had not promised the Lynwood salesperson a visit, I would have purchased the SUV right then and there. I drove the extra 30 minutes to Lynnwood, only to find that the second salesperson had brought out a Hyundai that I had indicated I was interested and another that I was not interested in to the front. I asked him about the other two cars and it seemed that they were on different lots, which he did not know until I got there. He was unfamiliar with the Hyundai and kept trying to steer me to other cars that I had previously told him I was not interested in. At that point, I told him I had lost interest in the other two cars and drove back the 30 minutes to Alisa and Honda of Marysville. I am writing this as I am waiting for the airport shuttle to take me to the Marysville drop-off point where Alisa will pick me up to get my car. The next time I am in the market for a vehicle, Alisa and Marysville Honda will be at the top of my list. More
Sorry I bought my car at Marysville Honda Purchased my new 2015 Honda Accord from Marysville Honda in October 2015. The paint job was defective and when brought to their attention was told it Purchased my new 2015 Honda Accord from Marysville Honda in October 2015. The paint job was defective and when brought to their attention was told it was water spots from their sprinkler system and just needed to be washed a few times. That did not work so took back the car and it was sent to a local paint shop and the imperfections seemed to be fixed. After several months and a number of car washes (by hand) the defects slowly reappeared. Took the car back and spoke to the Northwest Honda representative who looked at the car. He confirmed the paint job was defective and since still under warranty they would fix so once again sent the car back to the local paint shop. When I picked up the car it was covered in a dusty/gritty substance. Took it home and washed it. Found one of the rims was damaged, there was a small dent and scratch in the rear panel, the trim between the drivers doors was scratched and the paint on the hood and other areas was rough like sand paper. Left several messages for Kris K., the service manager, but no response after several days so drove my car down to the dealership. She acknowledged that the damage was not there before going to the paint shop. Kris K. said they would make it right and back it went to the local paint shop. I went down yesterday (6/11/17) to look at the car and the rim had been replaced and the scratch and dent had been fixed but the other issues remain. The service dept. was closed so I again left voice messages and sent emails to Kris K. asking for contact. No response. I also called and asked to speak to their general manager and was told they do not have one. Late today I contacted the general manager of another local Honda dealership and explained my situation. He listened and is working towards some resolution for me even though this is not his problem. I am ever so grateful and am hopeful that my car will finally be repaired. More
