Rairdens service department is a joke. Shawn is rude and doesn’t listen. Back in January (2020) we brought in my 2010 TSX (that we bought from rairdon in 2017) for an issue with my calipers dragging and doesn’t listen. Back in January (2020) we brought in my 2010 TSX (that we bought from rairdon in 2017) for an issue with my calipers dragging and heating up my rotors to around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. (They were bright red like a nascar drivers, and we used our own thermo gun to check the temp. We worked with Nicole, who was absolutely accommodating and listened intently to our concerns . They kept my car for over a week while they tried to figure out what was causing this issue. Unfortunately it was left unsolved, no fault to Nicole and the techs who tried their best. We replaced all the parts and hoped for the best. Fast forward to yesterday 11/16/2020. It happened once again. I immediately called Honda when and explained what was going on just to be told I needed an appointment to bring my car in, and that no rentals were available. Once I entered Honda, at approximate 10:30am no one looked up at us. My husband took off work to come pick me up since “no rentals were available.” Finally we were called up to Shawns desk and asked what was going on, so we explained the situation, just for him to quickly interrupt us and while we gave him the details for him to go “yep, mmhm, yea.” And not even listen to our concerns. We felt rushed and unheard. I was given a courtesy vehicle after all so my husband took time off for nothing, and we left. The next day I get a call from Shawn asking “if I had gotten his message he left me at 1:06pm” from the previous day. I replied no, because I had no voicemail, missed call alerts...nothing. (He never called.) Shawn told me that his “master tech.” Had looked at my car and that there were two options of what was wrong. 1. The caliper is dragging. (Which we knew and the reason we brought it in AGAIN.) 2. “Someone is driving with the e-brake on.” Which isn’t the case since I don’t even use my emergency brake anymore since we thought that was the issue and noticed using would result in the calipers freezing more frequently. Which Shawn would’ve known if he would’ve listened! So I reluctantly picked up my car, angry that they didn’t even try since they only had it 3 hours and only put it on a lift and looked at it, and guess what! I took off, a couple miles down the road with my rotar once again hot and stinky from dragging. So thanks Rairdon! You guys are literally the worst. If someone would’ve taken my car down the road to see for themselves maybe I would’ve found a solution but laziness and unprofessionalism from your team got in the way. I will never return, and I will loudly voice my opinion of your company and this experience to all my customers, friends and family. More
Great customer service. I needed work done, parts were ordered but when they removed the old part more items were needed. They sent me home with a loaner car, really appreciated it.
