They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the car, I have to bring it in 4 times and leave it with them for at least 4 days each time. They don’t return message, don’t call back, no updates…just terrible service. What really added salt to injury, is that they called the rental car, that I had to pay for every time they work on my car, they call it a “loaner” !! I couldn’t take it anywhere else, because the issue had to do with the computer which only dealerships have the equipment’s to work on. The only people was happy to call me was the sale dept. to convince me to trade it in for a new one. Out of desperation, I tried that. They gave me $13000 trade in value for it. $6000 less than recommended. I’ll spare you the details of the agony I went though for 2 months, and I’ll just say I’LL NEVER GET A JEEP AGAIN. The happiest day was when I trade it in for $17,000 and I got a brand new car, another brand of course. More
And you thought their sales dept was bad Another terrible experience at Rairdon's Jeep of Kirkland, but this will at least be the last time... I've been a sales and service customer here since I purchased my 2012 Jeep here new. The vehicle has had ongoing issues with squealing coming from the engine since its first oil change. After replacing multiple components numerous times for the same issue, they have now decided it needs an alternator (the one thing that wasn't replaced during all of the other attempted repairs) and refuse to cover it under warranty. Now if this was caused by abuse or neglect I would completely expect to have to pay out of pocket for the repairs... same for maintenance, but absolutely not for an ongoing warranty issue. After reminding them of the ongoing issues they still completely refused to help. The manager (with the authority to resolve the issue) was busy all morning and couldn't be bothered. I guess I'll have to find a new (non-Rairdon's) dealer for all my maintenance and service and I guess they'll have to find another sucker to take advantage of... Be warned this dealer, will NOT stand behind their product or services. *UPDATE* Rairdon's service manager called me back to discuss the situation. She said that she reviewed my service history as well as this review. After lecturing me a bit about "how things work", she explained that they would NOT be willing to assist me further. So here's what you get to look forward to here at Rairdon's... Terrible service followed by more terrible service after you complain. Do yourself a favor and find a good, reputable Jeep dealer. There's plenty of them out there, just make sure Rairdon's is not in the name. More

It was determined that turbo needed to be replaced, which is covered under the extended warranty I purchased. Due to the cost of the repair, a warranty adjuster would first have to authorize it. It took four days for adjuster to go to dealership at which time the adjuster reset the code and said it was fixed, denied any repair. In addition my rental car expense was not covered. When I went to pick up truck, John my service rep informed me that the light would come back on and to bring it back when it does and start all over. Before I was able to drive off lot, the check engine light came back on. Scheduled appointment for the following Monday, took another four days for adjuster to show up and finally got warranty work approved. John in service also got me an additional 4 days rental due to delay of adjuster and weekend coming up. I highly recommend Rairdon. John and the service department has been there for me. Now the adjuster for the extended warranty is another issue. Unethical if you ask me. I have made two calls to Dodge regarding warranty adjuster and the rental expense I incurred due to adjuster denying warranty work even though it is covered. More
Great Dealership - Fast Service, Friendly Staff I've been a customer of Rairdon's for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, willing to go the "extra mile I've been a customer of Rairdon's for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, willing to go the "extra mile" for you, knowledgable, and never tries to "up sell" you on products you don't need. I've had everything from the routine oil change, to tires, and everything in-between. I've also looked at buying a vehicle, and while I haven't yet, they always make an amazing offer. The only note - there is no $10 oil change like you get at the corner service stores. But, I've always found it better to pay the little extra even for the small services, in return for the overall experience and quality that Rairdon's provides. I always find it a good time to go in and it's easy - free coffee, free wifi, TV, everything. More
Recall notices being used for slimy sales tactics Describe my experience today: SLIMY! Called to inquire about a recall notice received in the mail, told that I'd need an appointment with a Kevin Graham. Once there for the appointment I was directed to a desk where a guy was calling himself the Chrysler recall specialist, I was then told how my 2011 Jeep Overland Summit was possibly unsafe to drive due to possible brake failure. Because the parts needed for the repair are currently unavailable they wouldn't be able to perform the inspection or repair at that time but they would be able to put my vehicle on the waiting list if I signed a recall form he put in front of me. I refused to sign it, and was told I couldn't be put on the waiting list until I did so. But I had a few options, drive a possibly unsafe car that the brakes could fail at anytime, or I should consider all the improvements that have been made to the 2012 and newer years, or, just park it until the parts are available. Any car dealership that would allow this man, whoever he was, to set up a temporary desk in middle of the showroom floor, and refer to himself as a recall specialist who works for Chrysler. This was all done in front of other sales staff and management. Wow! What other kind of sleazy, slimy sales tactics go on at this place mid day, mid week and in the middle of the dealership floor. I am still in disbelief that this happened to me today. A few calls to other dealerships confirmed my suspicion that this was just bull crap pulled at this Kirkland dealership. I will gladly be driving a few extra miles to Monroe or Bellevue for any future service or sales from now on ~ Maria 7/10/2014 More
THIS DEALERSHIP USES LIES, SCARE TACTICS AND PLOYS TO MOVE C PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ENTERING THIS DEALERSHIP! I received a 'recall' notice in the mail yesterday for our 2012 Jeep Patriot. When I call PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ENTERING THIS DEALERSHIP! I received a 'recall' notice in the mail yesterday for our 2012 Jeep Patriot. When I called Rairdon's to inquire what the recall was for, it was suggested we come to the dealership to discuss our options with the recall specialist because our car could potentially be unsafe to drive. Today, my husband, one year old, and I went to the dealership for our appointment. There were already customers with the recall specialist, as well as more people waiting to speak with him after our appointment-- a steady flow of people coming in and out that had received recalls in the mail. Upon sitting down at the table, and handing the "specialist" our recall notice, he looked at the paper, pulled out his binder and told us, "THIS IS THE WORST RECALL I'VE SEEN...IF YOUR CAR WAS IN AN ACCIDENT, THERE WOULD BE GAS EVERYWHERE AND IT WOULD BE LIKE THE MOVIES... FIRE EVERYWHERE". He then proceeded to tell us, while looking at our child, that since we have responsibilities as parents to keep her safe, we should no longer drive our car. He pulled out a contract to have us sign, which we didn't, that stated that we were not recommended to drive our car. The kicker-- the new parts for our car would take 3-4 months to get in, so rather than having an un-drivable car, we could have the option to trade it in for something better for little to no cost. We were then sent to talk to the "Jeep Specialist" to help us work out our options. This specialist confirmed with us, after going and getting our VIN number from our specific car, that our car was part of the recall and that we shouldn't drive our car. After going over our list of needs for a trade in, he came back and told us to come outside to see the car he found and that it was "perfect". It was, to say the least, the BIGGEST downgrade from our car possible. I don't know how he thought we would even consider trading our car for what he showed us. We would have been idiots to take the trade. After telling him we weren't interested, he took us inside and said that he didn't have a single other car for us, there were no other options. We asked what the cash trade in would be and he told us a price less than what the car was worth, and even admitted that our car was worth more than his offer. HERE'S THE PART YOU HAVE TO READ: After telling him we just wanted to wait for the recall parts instead of trading in our car, the Jeep specialist- who just so happens to be the Floor Manager as well, took us to the parts department and left. We were planning to set up an appointment and potentially finding a rental car for the time being, when this man tells us, "YOU'RE GOOD TO GO, THERE IS NOTHING NEEDING TO BE FIXED ON YOUR CAR"... WHAT?! We double checked and told him we had the recall notice and that we were JUST told not to drive our car because it was unsafe, and he insured us that our car was fine. I literally asked the man-- "So they were COMPLETELY LYING to us to try to get us to upgrade and give you our perfectly good car?!" His response, "YES". This is THE MOST UNETHICAL SCHEME...I am truly beside myself that a dealership could use fear tactics and could be so immoral. To tell us that we are putting our daughter at risk by driving our car, then to find out it was a complete lie?! I am truly appalled by what happened today, and you can be assured that I am going to do everything in my power to prevent anyone from going to this dealership-- for anything! More
Well your dealership managed, yet again, to fail me. On Saturday (Sept 7t) I returned to get the paint sealant redone. I was outside and witnessed my Jeep being recklessly driven (backed into while burnin Saturday (Sept 7t) I returned to get the paint sealant redone. I was outside and witnessed my Jeep being recklessly driven (backed into while burning out) into the detail building that also had another vehicle in it. I contacted the "Service Manager" Justin Reynolds whom I was informed that was just an acting manager because he was actually a service advisor but since there were no managers there he was standing in. He took my issue and attempted to contact the actual manager but that person was not answering their phone. I did get the privilege to speak with the only manager at the dealership the Sales Manager who when I went to determine the status of my vehicle, while I was upset at my treatment, would not come down from the sales perch to speak with me and became argumentative with me. I asked if the General Manager was called and apprised to which I was informed that it would not do any good and when I asked that he be called I was again informed of my futility. There were only two good employees that showed any concern with my issues and they were Justin and another one of the (I will call him a lot attendant, an older gentleman who apologized and even had me pull around to have tire dressing applied to the wheels and tires). I went to the Rairdon's of Kirkland to have my brakes fixed. They took care of me although it was expensive to fix on a car that is less then 2 years old. Rich Regan gave me a follow up call to make sure fixed. They took care of me although it was expensive to fix on a car that is less then 2 years old. Rich Regan gave me a follow up call to make sure everything was okay. So far so good. About a month later turns out they are extending the parts warranty and they are going to pay for the repair now. Anyway, I went back in today and Rich took care of me and went out of his way to make me a priority. Raena More
