I purchased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and I was very impressed with the service from Nelson Guzman. I came in on the advertising vehicle and they honored the price that was in the ad. I have to say very impressed with the service from Nelson Guzman. I came in on the advertising vehicle and they honored the price that was in the ad. I have to say that I figured that I would not be able to buy the car I saw in the Seattle Times ad, however, Nelson walked me out immediately to show me the Overland that was on special. I absolutely love my new Overland. I previously owned a 2011 Overland that I had also purchased from Rairdon's of Kirkland. Overall I am very satisified with the service I received and the dealer delivered on what they promised. I have since referred friends and family to them. More
BEWARE - THEY WASTE YOUR TIME - I recently received a letter in the mail from Rairdon's Jeep that they would pay 133% of Kelley Blue Book Value for used Jeep Wranglers and give you a Starbucks Card if yo letter in the mail from Rairdon's Jeep that they would pay 133% of Kelley Blue Book Value for used Jeep Wranglers and give you a Starbucks Card if you stopped by regardless. Well I stopped by, received no Starbucks Card and what they told me the value of my jeep was at 133% is actually 50% of what Kelley Blue Book Wholesale says it's worth on-line and my Jeep is in excellent condition. It was a total waste of time, a bad business practice on their part, and I'll definitely never step foot in their dealership again - and I'm an avid Jeep guy. Scott More

To consumers, please beware: I PURCHASED MY 2012 To consumers, please beware: I PURCHASED MY 2012 JEEP WRANGLER JULY 3RD 2012 AT RAIRDONS AND AM NOW MAKING A FORMAL REQUEST FOR REPURCHASE. 1282 To consumers, please beware: I PURCHASED MY 2012 JEEP WRANGLER JULY 3RD 2012 AT RAIRDONS AND AM NOW MAKING A FORMAL REQUEST FOR REPURCHASE. 12828 Northeast 124th Street, Kirkland, WA 98034 425-821-1777 ***OVERALL JEEP EXPERIENCE FROM DATE OF PURCHASE July 3rd 2012*** 1. I Bought my 2012 Jeep Wrangler July 3rd 2012, had to bring vehicle back to Rairdons to clean sap of entire vehicle. There were about 50 little sap marks from the tree it was parked under at the dealership. Then after the sap was cleaned off on July 5th, instead of having someone drive over in a lot vehicle to pick me up. They sent a 18 year old kid(porter) in "MY" 2012 Jeep Wrangler to come pick me up. I never gave permission to have anyone drive my vehicle except for general test drive around the dealership. I still cant figure out why they sent a kid in my car to come and get me? Little unprofessional in my opinion. I would never do that with one of my customers vehicles! As my gas, in my gas tank was used to drive from dealer to my work here in Bellevue and there was mileage put on my Jeep, by someone who did not have permission to drive my vehicle in the first place. What if he got in an accident? I would not have accepted the vehicle at all, and the insurance would have denied the claim as there was no permissive use given. Once I got the vehicle back and inspected it on July 5th there was still sap all over the roof of the vehicle that was not cleaned the first time that I specifically showed them to clean, and several areas of sap on the body that were not adressed including the front and rear bumpers and front fenders. The windshield waser fluid was empty and had to be filled. Brand new vehicle and the fluids were not checked? I brought it back and they did clean off all the sap and did wax the vehicle. This is when I think the detail that was done on the vehicle whether by Rairdons or a sublet to a local business must have put wax and or rubbing alchohal on the textured bumpers front and rear and front fenders and rear quarter panel flares. Now there are white marks that will not go away on all textured parts of the vehicle, front bumper, front fenders quarter panel flares and rear bumper. I spoke with my production manager as well as my head detailer and they both agree with me that when the sap was cleaned off the front and rear bumpers they must have used alchohal to clean that off which will fade the textured black to white streaks. We use alchohal (rubbing alchohal) all the time to clean sap off of painted surfaces which is what I think they did with the hood, as it will not damage clear coat on paint it just needs to be buffed and waxed afterward, but if you use it on any plastic it will make that plastic fade over a short period of time. 2. Around July 12th I noticed that the right rear speaker in the sound bar was ratteling severly. I could not listen to the stereo at any volume without the speaker rattling. I took the vehicle to Car Toys and had the rear speakers replaced and they had to put dynamat sound deadening material all in the sound bar around the speaker to get the speaker to not rattle. 3. I bought running boards from the dealership Rairdons and had them shipped directly to my work. The first set had a giant hole in the box, I pulled the running boards out of the box and they had large gouges in them and I had to send them back and get a new set. I dont know why the first set in a severly damaged box would have been shipped out to me at my work without inspecting the parts before they were shipped out? 4. 2 months ago I called in informing service department that there was a severe water leak in the front center of the hard top. Informed them It was leaking into the cd player directly(literally drops falling into where you put the cd in the dash), and I was told I could not get the vehicle in for a week as they were booked up with water leaks at the moment. I had to drive around a 2012 vehicle with a towel on the dash for a week so the cd player would not fill with water. I took the vehicle in and had the seals replaced, and I appreciate it being fixed. But when I went to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle was parked outside with the driver window down while it was raining and the key in the ignition? Anyone could have come onto the lot and got in my car stole it and drove away at anytime. There were no security measures taken with my vehicle while it was on the lot. Once I drove away at about 7pm on Nov 7th I noticed they did not adress the problem with the noise in 3rd gear as it accelerates it still makes a rattling/grinding noise. When I called back Josh informed me that I could not get a loaner car as it was not covered, even though the problem had not been fixed? That part was on order (gearshift) as I discussed with Jason the Service Manager, and he did say he would call me when the part comes in and pay for a rental. 5. After looking over the vehicle thursday Nov 8th I noticed the the impossible, rust on the left front of the frame. I am at a loss right now on where to turn for help with my vehicle. Below is a list of the problems that Rairdons Jeep has not fixed on this brand new 2012 vehicle. CURRENT 2012 JEEP WRANGLER PROBLEMS AS OF 1/31/2013 1. While accelerating in 3rd gear there is a grinding noise, if you hold the gearshifter upward toward the dash the noise seems to dissapate. You can also hear the same noise very slightly when accelerating in 4th gear, but not nearly as loud as 3rd gear. ***I took in the vehicle Monday 11/19 to have this problem adressed now for the second time, (originally took in to have 3rd gear repaired 11/7) and they replaced the shift knob the first time and now the shift lever, but the problem still now persists as of 11/26/2012, still rattles in third gear. They gave me the vehicle back and expect me to keep driving the vehicle with a damaged 3rd gear. I do not feel this is the correct thing to do, I would expect them to keep the vehicle until the problem is fixed. ***I took the vehicle back in on 1/8 I just received my vehicle back 1/30 and now it is almost impossible to shift into 3rd gear from 2nd gear and shifting from 3rd gear to 4th gear takes a great deal of effort. It does not go from 4th gear to fifth gear without great strain now. This vehicle has now been at the dealership for more than 30days to fix this "ONE" problem and now it is 1000times worse than it has ever been since I purchased the vehicle. 2. There was rust on the upper left front frame, under left headlight and behind bumper. ***The dealership informed me on 11/21 while it was there for the problem above that this is not a covered warrenty item. I did inform them that the vehicle is brand new and that it is a safety issue and it needs to be fixed, Jason the Service Manager refused to fix this problem as per his words he said this is not a warrenty item. I spoke to Chris Banchero the General Manager on 11/21 and he said he would have a check for $125 waiting for me so I can take it into a body shop and have the rust sanded down and corrision protected. I picked the vehicle up on 11/23 and there were no service managers or the general manager to be found anywhere in the building and of course there was no check to pick up either! This particular problem has now been fixed by my repair shop and Rairdons has paid for 90% of the cost. 3. All exterior textured black plastic panels are fading to white in certain spots only as well as the Jeep trail rated logo on drivers fender is fading. Front bumper, front bumper upper cover under grill, left and right fenders, left and right quarter panel flares and rear bumper. (I believe an alcohol based product was used to clean the sap off these panels when I first brought the vehicle back on July 5th right after I bought it to have sap removed from entire vehicle) ***I was told by Jason the service manager there that this is not a covered warrenty item, I explained to him several times that this has nothing to do with a warrenty issue but that is was most likely damaged in the sap removal process, they denied paying to replace the panels. This problem has been fixed by my repair shop and Rairdons has paid for 90% of the cost. 4. There was a "BRAND NEW" problem with the vehicle as of 12/20/2012, last night there was a puddle of water on my dash where you put your sunglasses. This problem was suppose to be fixed when I brought the vehicle in 2 months ago for a severe water leak. The water leak is in the exact same spot as before right in the center of the dash and leaks directly into the CD player as well as on the dash. I am so dissapointed in this vehicle and in Rairdons in general for not fixing this problem correctly the first time. ***Supposedly now the 3 front seals have been replaced they informed me when I picked up veh on 1/29/2013. It has not rained enough for me to test if the vehicle does not leak now. *I did inform Jason the Service Manager I dont know if I really want the vehicle anymore a few months ago when I last brought it in to have the 3rd gear transmission serviced, but I have spent so much of my own money having a custom mylar chip guard package put on the Jeep which includes; mylar film on the grill, hood, both fenders, all three doors cups edges and around the key holes. The package cost over $500. Also I had the windows tinted on the Jeep which was another $250, and I had to replace the rear speakers which was another $200. I also bought the running boards which cost another $240. I also bought a jeep specific Thule bike rack that cost $200. It is unfortunate that the dealership is not taking responsibility for this vehicle and fixing it correctly. It has made me never want to purchase another American made vehicle ever again. I work in a service industry as a vehicle repair manager, and I would never be able to give this poor customer service to anyone of my customers regardless if the car is 20 years old or brand new like this one. Everytime I have brought my vehicle in for service it has been a battle to get this dealership to "not" fix the vehicle correctly and "not" pay for a rental car. There has been one employee Rick Sheldon that has been helpfull in adressing all of the problems above, but I cannot drive a brand new vehicle that drips water into the dash and into the cd player and that also does not shift into 3rd and 4th gear without great strain. The vehicle has been in for both of these issues and neither one has been resolved. The vehicle has now been in the shop >30days for the 3rd gear rattling issue. I am making a formal request to have Rairdons repurchase my 2012 Jeep Wrangler vin#1C4AJWAG9CL188763. I do not want to have to take the vehicle in every week for this dealership to not fix these problems correctly, I do not have the time, money or energy to deal with this. I am willing to cut my >$1000 in losses by the equipment I put on this vehicle just to get my money back and go purchase a vehicle that is reliable and does not leak water into the electrical systems and will shift in and out of 3rd and 4th gear. I have sent this letter to the BBB and the Attorney General and now to dealerrater.com, I am hoping and amicable and timely resolution can be made before that is necessary. Sincerely, Jackson Clemmons 425-919-2641 More
This was a high pressure situation to the max. I wasn't even planning to buy a vehicle - I was there with my son about HIS vehicle. However, I take full responsibility and have learned a lot from this expe even planning to buy a vehicle - I was there with my son about HIS vehicle. However, I take full responsibility and have learned a lot from this experience that will be useful in the future. First, car salesmen often lack integrity and their managers are even worse. I paid at least $6k more than I should have for this car but they don't care - it's about profits over people at Rairdon (or perhaps just with Mr. Meade). Second, NEVER talk about payments without discussing the price of the car, the interest rate and the value of your trade-in first. Don't even TELL them what your current payments are or what you can afford! Third, don't be afraid to walk out and check other dealers. Fourth, use the Internet price and ability to purchase through that. If I had done that, I would have paid thousands less and been able to afford what I really wanted, rather than believing that I could only afford what I was pressured into. Fifth, the piece of paper that they scrawl numbers and promises on, then have you sign, is MEANINGLESS and has nothing whatsoever to do with the final contract. You will never see it again and any promises made to you there may or may not make it to the final contract. Would I buy again at Rairdon? Perhaps but not in person - ONLY negotiating through the Internet and email. More
