2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Went down to purchase this jeep yesterday. The floor on the passengers side (front to back) was soaking wet and molded. Sales department said they'd c Went down to purchase this jeep yesterday. The floor on the passengers side (front to back) was soaking wet and molded. Sales department said they'd clean it up and dry it out. Went back last evening to see how it was coming, they had a heater on it with no air. Went to purchase it today, still soaking wet on the floor (yes I have photographic documentation). It took the dealer 3 hours to do the paperwork and ready the vehicle, even though I was preapproved and had given them a loan reference number before I came down today. They also had to perform an open recall so the wait was extended. The guy that closes the loan whisked me through signing a novella's work of paperwork, one of them was for oil changes at $152, when I asked him about it he said there was no charge it was a formality that they have to do but he assured me the oil changes were free. That was an outright lie, the charge of $152 is listed on the loan document submitted to the lender. And if that's not enough, shortly before they were to send me on my way, they threw in this one, "there's only one key". A new key is $211.99 plus $70 to program it. Who would send someone out the door with a 2016 Jeep and only one key? The salesman kept complaining about how the dealer was taking a 5K loss and used that as the excuse for everything. Why not ask what you need for the item you are selling or keep your mouth shut and make the vehicle ready for sale. More
