I tried to find a sales person, none available. Checked out their MSRP's and noted an additional $3000-$4000 dealer markup. I won't start a negotiation under such a set up. I live in California and I drove 600 miles (9 Hours) to get to the dealership. Before leaving home I made sure everything was in order with the bank and the dealership, being sure that all the details wher get to the dealership. Before leaving home I made sure everything was in order with the bank and the dealership, being sure that all the details where worked out and that none of the numbers would change I.E. Price on vehicle, trade in value, tax title and license fees, and so on. Upon being reassured what I was told was what I was going to get I left town. When I arrived at the dealer the next morning and approach the vehicle I notice it has not even been cleaned, no big deal. After driving the vehicle I decided to move forward with the deal. We did some paperwork and I was told that the finance manager would be with me shortly, it took over an hour. After finally getting to the finance managers office he proceeds to tell me that the amount they estimated for tax, title, and license was not enough and they needed to increase the amount. Once everything is all said and done after 2 plus hours in the office to sign a few simple forms we depart from the dealership only to find they did not put the amount of Fuel in the vehicle that they said they would. Upon returning to the dealer I also noticed I did not have a second key. An apology was issued for the missing gas and as far as the key goes they need to try and locate it if they have one. Once again I depart from the dealership. After eating lunch before my trip back home I realize that I do NOT have a key for the canopy that is on the truck. Back the dealer. One of the people at the desk walks over to the board with all the keys and picks up the second key to the truck without hesitation or having to search for it at all. After arriving home 32 more days go by and no word from the dealer or the DMV about my registration and plates. The next day I get a check in the mail so I can go pay my DMV fees. By the time I received the check there was already $552 in DMV late fees and penalties and that there is still an additional $270 in other fees that the dealer did not accommodate for that need to be paid. So even after changing a verbal contract and raising my fees, I still get screwed out of another $800. I contacted the dealer and they tell me that if I do not pay the fees or they would title the truck in Washington and I would have to go through xxxx to get it titled in California. By far the worst car buying experience I have ever had, I should've listened to my grandparents when they warned me about this place. Please do yourself a favor and don't even consider purchasing a car/truck from this place. More

We have purchased 2 cars from Rairdon of Bellingham. We visited the lot looking for a vehicle that could hold our family that was not a mini van, and also would do great in the snow. Before we arrived we had contacted the sales department and let them know what we were shopping for. Upon arrival they had 4 cars pulled up front for us to test drive. This saved us time of wandering around the lot. Within a hour we had narrowed our search and decided the Jeep Commander was for us. Our sales guy started the financing paperwork ( which is usually a long boring process) However there was very little back and forth and within 40 Min my husband was signing papers and soon after we were driving away with our Jeep. We have been back several times for regular maintenance and each time we are treated with respect of our time and budget. When time came to look for a more gas efficient car we went back to Rairdon, again we called ahead with what we were needing and upon arrival had 4 cars to choose from. Our family is a tall family 4 of us are 5'10 or taller so we need a car that our teenagers won't feel cramped in the back seat. We didn't even drive the cars, I had the kids sit in the back seat and within 15 min we were off and test driving the Mazda 6. We wanted a used car that got 30MPG average. Again in less than 90 min we were on the road with our car. I am so thankful for the efficient way we were served at Rairdons. We will continue to purchase cars from here because they actually listen to our needs and help find the perfect fit. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy a new car/truck shop here first! Pushy, aggressive and sneaky. Don't waste your time here, go spend $30,000 at the Casino. You'll enjoy it more than getting screwed by these guys. Service department is also horrible. The costs for my repair was more than I was expecting, causing me to raise concern. Derek called me and assured me everything was done with care and time and made things right with me.
