Fuel injector turns into scored cam scam Work Order 240791 -Customer states check engine light is on, Customer swapped coil #2 to #4 and #2 still misfiring injector issues? -130126 Inspecte Work Order 240791 -Customer states check engine light is on, Customer swapped coil #2 to #4 and #2 still misfiring injector issues? -130126 Inspected and removed both valve covers and upper intake manifold, found cam and lifters need replaced $4261.61. It was very clear upper intake manifold was never removed, but maybe I'm new to car repair, but what mechanic can inspect a center block cam without ever removing the valley pan on a v8 engine? A mechanic had to use a shop vac for all the pieces of the foam from the sound deadening material underneath the intake let alone having to remove both heads to get to the cam. $65 fuel injector for a $4262 kick to the xxxxx, I would not trust Rairdon's to put air in my tires. 2018 Jeep issues and poor service dept Bought our second car from this dealer which Is a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. After 3 months of driving the Jeep it would fail to start after being driven then would start after sitting for several minuets. Drove it to “our” dealer and was told by the service dept that they could not duplicate the issue. I explained to the service writer that the exact same issues are all over the internet with solutions I was completely blown off and told to bring it back when it happens again. Well next day we had to tow our Brand new Jeep back to the dealership for them to again say they couldn’t duplicate the issue and they would need to keep it till they could. The dealer contacted the factory and was told this was a known issue and how to duplicate and repair. Huge inconvenience for us to not have the car for a few days while they figure out what everyone else knows on the internet. Teach them customer service in the service dept. spending 40,000 at this dealership to buy the Jeep the dealership should be inconvenienced not the customer. This is the second issue we have had at this service dept. they are ok at oil changes and tire fills. Take your car to a different dealer More

I was told by the service adviser that I needed a complete front brake job including calipers and rotors (calipers had ceased), transmission service (transmission had leak in oil pan), and wiper blades. I recently had the transmission serviced done by Terry's Transmissions (down the street). They found nothing wrong - no leak. Next morning, I took my truck to Les Schwab (across the street from your store), and they told me the calipers were not ceased, brakes were fine - and they said to see me in 10,000 to 15,000 miles for recheck. All was good. I asked your service adviser what was wrong with my wiper blades. He said they were streaking. It was a completely dry day. I had just recently changed the blades myself. How could he know they were streaking? Service Advisor - Sam Gordon They were trying to screw me. I recently purchased two Hyundai Tuscans from your Bellingham store. My wife and I will not be doing business with your stores anymore. Is your business so bad that you have to cheat people now? Be sure to take me off of your mailing list. Your service prices are 2-3 times higher than anyone else. For example your transmission service is $310, where Terry's Transmission is $98. Jim and Linda Doyle Marysville, WA More

Just got it back yesterday, so we’ll see if they fixed it this time. I paid $155 the second time and the 3rd time they tried to charge me again even though it was covered under the warranty and my deductible was only $109. More

I thought it would be just a matter of having the lamps in the gauge panel replaced. But, afterward the center lamp(s) that illuminate the temperature gauge and lower left of the speedometer kept intermittently fading in and out. I took it back and was reassured that all was working again, but the problem has returned. This may be a gremlin, such as a contact that is thermally unstable. I'm not sure if I want to mess with this anymore, and just live with it. Or probe more deeply into it. I used to teach electronics, and even I am baffled by this. Because of some minor manual disability I decided to defer to the professionals on this to spare my hands. I'm put off by the complexity of accessing something like the instrument panel for the simple task of lamp replacement. Cost me nearly $300 for this bit of work. More

I decided to support the local Dealership with any services and oil changes that my Jeep might need. I really didn’t think it would have to spend so much time in the shop and be held there for extended periods of time. The first visit was in January of 2015 for an oil change. All was well at that visit. The second visit was June 3, 2015 the air bag light had come on and there was a loud ticking noise. The air bag turned out to be my seat belt assembly and the ticking noise was the exhaust manifold. Work completed and vehicle returned June 15, 2015. The third visit was June 25, 2015. Went to lunch and after lunch tried to lock the door and the key FOB didn’t work. I got into the vehicle and tried to start it and it wouldn’t start. Had the vehicle towed to the shop. They replaced the control Module and reprogrammed the Fobs. Work completed June 29, 2015. Fourth visit was December 17, 2015. Check engine light on. This time it was the Transmission pump. Work completed December 31, 2015 By this time I am pretty fed up with the service department. They do not call with information regarding the vehicle. When you call to get information you are on hold forever and they only let you speak with one person. Not impressed and certainly do not plan to return for any further service from their group. They do not offer any type of loaner car and two weeks is a long time to be without a vehicle. Fifth visit January 15, 2016- air bag light is on. Now I sat down and looked at my records and low and behold this is the same thing that happened in June and I paid $655.72 to have the seatbelt assembly replaced. I reluctantly return to the dealership. I received a voicemail and returned the call only to be told that Randy is busy and won’t be available for about an hour and nobody can give me information on my vehicle. He calls me back within the hour and tells me it is my seatbelt assembly and they can order one up for me. I then remind him that this is the same issue that I had on June 3, 2015. He checks the records and there is a 2 year warranty on the part. He says he will order the part. I ask if I can pick up the vehicle as I do not have another vehicle to drive until the part arrives, he says yes. I pick up the vehicle and they do call to tell me my part is ready. I drop the vehicle off on Wednesday, January 20,2016. I receive a call an hour later that the part is the wrong part and I can pick up my vehicle. We picked up the vehicle only to discover that the seatbelt had not been reattached to the seat. Friday, January 22, 2016 I call the dealership at 3:50 to see if my part is in. After a long wait they say yes it is and I can schedule my appointment anytime after Tuesday, January 26th. Now I am pretty ticked off as I was on vacation for the week they were supposed to fix my car so not having a car wasn’t too much of an issue. Monday I go back to work. How is this now my issue that they can’t squeeze me in? Over $5900.00 has been paid to this dealership in one year. Now I get to drive a vehicle that does not have an operating airbag. Hope I don’t get in a wreck. I do not recommend this dealership. More
I bought a previously owned 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from a non-Jeep dealership. They recommended that I go to the nearest Jeep dealer, to my home, to get the full understanding of my Laredo. W Laredo from a non-Jeep dealership. They recommended that I go to the nearest Jeep dealer, to my home, to get the full understanding of my Laredo. When I arrived at Rairdon, Smokey Point, I was met by, Joey. His greating was full of enthusiam and a firm handshake! I told him I needed to understand how to operate the Laredo appropriately. Joey was patient, showing me all of the neat perks. I had trouble with Uconnect, but Joey was abe to get me connected. Thank you, Joey, for your assistance. I also wanted to order a DashMat from Parts. We walked over to that department where I met Brock. He showed me the website online that sales the product I was inquiring about. Thank you, Brock. I was able to order the DashMat I wanted. :) All-in-All, I will be looking forward to taking my Laredo to, Rairdon @ Smokey Point, for any future services. Thank you for a great first experience! I bought my car from here and it was the worst mistake I've ever made. They are local so I gave them a chance. They talked the talk and walked the walk and I fell for it. I'm not going to go into all t I've ever made. They are local so I gave them a chance. They talked the talk and walked the walk and I fell for it. I'm not going to go into all the problems I encountered but, suffice to say that after giving them numerous chances to redeem themselves, I have had enough. Today was the last straw...I took my car in for an oil change a couple weeks ago. Service department was great. but, what I noticed while I was there, was that the dealership itself was really dirty. Dust caked (not even kidding...look at the chrome chrysler sign - Gross) all over everything and when I walked out onto the lot no one seemed interested in even acknowledging me. I didn't give it a second thought, as I've had quite a few problems with them previously and it just seemed par for the course until, I was chosen for a phone survey. I told the person I talked to what I observed and left it at that. Didn't think anything would come of it but, today I received a follow up call from someone at the dealership and, when I told him what I observed, he seemed to get very defensive and kept trying to justify what I had described to him. His lack of interest in what I had to say only irratated me... then, to add insult to injury, he closed the conversation by saying it sounds like you don't like our dealership and, I was just going to offer you a free oil change. At this point I was very upset and told him I didn't need his "free oil change" and, proceeded to hang up. There are far too many dealerships out there who are more than happy to perform my car maintenance and take my money and, in this economy you would think they would be appreciative for the business.
