Took my Dodge Nitro in for drive train vibration and they replaced the radiator fan costing over $1000. ( we were not having any cooling issues) The problem was worse than before so we took it back and a se replaced the radiator fan costing over $1000. ( we were not having any cooling issues) The problem was worse than before so we took it back and a service tech drove it and stated it was brakes and gave an estimate over $2200 and would need the car for 5 days. Took it to les Schaub and they did the exact same work (we got a lime item quote from RainierDodge) for $1200 and had it back to us in under 4 hours. I will not use Rainier Dodge again and would give it a zero if that were a choice. More

Mr. Gene Johnson. I’d like for you to give me a call rather then dealing with a mechanical negligence issue on my jeep. If you could reach me at the number provided to you on your voicemail that would b rather then dealing with a mechanical negligence issue on my jeep. If you could reach me at the number provided to you on your voicemail that would be greatly appreciated. frankly i would not waste my time again with this dealership. i took my jeep here after having a hard time with firestone and having a proper inspection of my jeep, after finding out i had recalls on my jeep i took it to dodge to have the work done and 'properly inspected' after stating i was worried about the suspension on my jeep they told they would give it a look over and let me know what it is i needed, after doing so, i was told my issue was a leaking strut, i paid to have them replace them, as well as do my recall. because i do not daily my jeep it took a little over three weeks to notice my jeep was making what sounded to be a metal on metal noise coming from my front end, after having my jeep inspected once more, i was told by another shop by jeep really needed another $3,000 worth of work ON MY SUSPENSION that dodge failed to mention, even after taking my jeep back to them, my gf had to do a test drive with them for them to even "know" what noise was being talked about only to tell me i really did need more work done. my advice, shop small business . they pay more attention to detail. Ridiculously difficult to deal with. Horrible customer service. Took me vehicle there for some warranty work. The job quoted 17 hrs for repair and they took over TWO WEEKS to complete it. Sure, some part service. Took me vehicle there for some warranty work. The job quoted 17 hrs for repair and they took over TWO WEEKS to complete it. Sure, some parts delays impacted that, but negligence more than anything was the top factor. On the first original appointment for an oil change and inspection, I was told to plan for 4 hours to wait for at, and it took 6. At the end of that appointment I was told the parts were approved and being ordered, and set up the appointment for the repairs to be a week and a half later. On the day repairs were supposed to start, in was told that it would probably only take 3-4 days, but we'll plan for 5, just in case there were any parts delays. On day 5, instead of getting the call to pick my vehicle up, I got the call saying the forgot to order an additional parts needed for the repair. So, now my truck has to sit there through the weekend. Hopefully the parts will arrive by Monday, but could be as late as Wednesday. Monday comes, no phone call. Tuesday comes, no phone call. Wednesday comes, I sent an email to both the service manager and general manager. No reply. 4 hours later I called to speak with the Service Manager. He was able to explain some reasons for the lengthy delay, but for the most part, an unproductive conversation. I was also told that some my concerns were trivial. We ended the day again with no vehicle. The next day, according to the service manager, the tech would be wrapping up the repairs early morning, test driving it and it should have been ready to go late morning/early afternoon. Again, no phone call, no update. I called early afternoon and was told that the tech was STILL working on it but repairs SHOULD be completed by the end of business that day. About 4 pm, the service writer calls and states that I will be unable to pick up my vehicle due to something that wasn't an issue to begin with, now leaking coolant and they will need to overnight that part. Friday, late morning, I get a phone call stating the leaking hose had been repaired, however NOW, one of the original repairs (timing cover gasket) had failed and was leaking oil. I asked why it wasn't noticed yhe day prior so we could have ordered the part then with the hose. She told me it just started leaking. (If it were truly a failed gasket, it would have immediately started leaking while it was on the day priors 40 mile test drive and under pressure). The repairs were "completed" Saturday and it was able to pick up the following Monday. Still having issues with one of my original repairs, and my the entire cab of my truck stinks line diesel whenever the vents run. The WORST experience ever! Will be writing Dodge corporate and my attorney. Garbage Company. More
I went on car gurus last night an found a Dodge Charger listed for 20,981 dollars which is a great price so I got in contact with a sales representative and I told him I would come in the next morning not listed for 20,981 dollars which is a great price so I got in contact with a sales representative and I told him I would come in the next morning not even 12 hours difference. I drove all the way to the dealership and test drove the car and said I wanted it. The guy went and talked to the boss and they said that the market “adjusted” over night and now the vehicle was listed at 23,000 and would be 27,000 after taxes and everything. They got me in the door and then bait and switched to try and get me to pay the more expensive price. I told him I would do 24,000 out the door and the manager said no and did not want to do business with us. I would not go here for a car they are not trust worthy and are going to try and scam you. If they treat there customers like that they are not a good company, and I’m happy I did not do business with them. More
2015 Ram 2500 Diesel. Bought new and had many issues with the key fob. Should have been a warranty item. Key would make the check engine light come on. Took the truck to the dealership 5 times. Each service the key fob. Should have been a warranty item. Key would make the check engine light come on. Took the truck to the dealership 5 times. Each service spot was around $100.00 to reset the light to only have it come back on. They never fixed it or even washed the truck. We ended up buying a 2021 Tundra Limited. Not a single issue with the Toyota and by the way two years service included at no charge and they wash my vehicle EVERY TIME. Rainer Dodge sucks. Never buying anything from them again. Casey and his dad should find something else to do then take peoples money and not provide decent service. More
This is our third car we have bought at Rainier Dodge. You would think if you spent that much money on a car even if it was used they would offer you 2 keys . This isn’t one of those used car dealerships You would think if you spent that much money on a car even if it was used they would offer you 2 keys . This isn’t one of those used car dealerships you see going down Pac. Ave. in Tacoma. My husband had gone in to get a oil change that day and came back with a new/used car . Mind you it wasn’t a Dodge this time . We asked Trey if he could help us get another key and after two weeks we still never heard back from him .My husband left him several messages but he just couldn’t find the time. Thank you Sam for following through and atleast getting back to him . We were told they would offer us another key at cost . Then we both asked Trey if we could get the oil change added onto our new car . But Trey told us “No”! I feel Trey could of done a better job helping us out , especially since he knew us. We are so disappointed in how this all went down. It will be hard to recommend them to any of our family , friends or coworkers. More
