We have really enjoyed our recent purchase. Our sales person Greg was very good as was evryone else form finance to service. I would give a higher raiting if it was not for the dealership not standing behind their vehicle. I understand I purchased a used vehicle but if I am spending almost 20,000.00 on a vehicle and then I c dealership not standing behind their vehicle. I understand I purchased a used vehicle but if I am spending almost 20,000.00 on a vehicle and then I come back to get a light fixed and you will not fix it it and tell me that I have to pay 285.00 to fix something when it was broken when I left the lot. I will have trouble recommending this dealership and I will probably never buy at this dealership again. More
when I went to the dealer ship joey was very respectful and very thing he said he was going to do he did . I really injoyed doing bussness there when I had questions he answered them and also expliad every and very thing he said he was going to do he did . I went to Rainbow Automotive to purchase a BMW they had listed on the website. After inspecting the car, I noticed the vehicle did not have a spare tire. I asked the salesperson about this and he stated th listed on the website. After inspecting the car, I noticed the vehicle did not have a spare tire. I asked the salesperson about this and he stated the vehicle is equipped with run flat tires (it should be). After further review, I did not see anything on the tire that indicated this, so I called the local BMW dealership and they informed me the tire on the car did not have run flat tires that it should have. I informed the manager that they were falsely advertising this, but he did not care and stated most people don't like that type of tire. Additionally, the car did not have any floor mats. The sales guy said the car did not come with them and they will not put them in. He told me to order them from BMW after I purchased the car. I said okay and went back to the tire issue. After asking if they were really going to just let someone drive off in a car without notifying the customer that the car is not equipped with the correct tires, they walked away and did not want to answer the question. It is my opinion that you cannot trust this company and they are only interested in moving the cars they have on the lot and can care less if someone is deceived. More
I took delivery of my 2007 Mercedes C-230 on May 9, 2012. I was very happy with my car until 3 days after the sale, I noticed a rattle sound coming from the left rear of the vehicle. I was then informed by I was very happy with my car until 3 days after the sale, I noticed a rattle sound coming from the left rear of the vehicle. I was then informed by my mechanic that the rear springs and suspension was bad and it will cost me about 900.00 dollars to repair the problem. I know this was a as-is sale, but i guess buyer beware is the answer for this problem. I was also unhappy to learn that there was no history of when the vehicle was last serviced before i purchased it. I was informed that the vehicle was purchased about 2 days before I purchased it and it was put out for sale without any service being done. I was then informed that i should get the vehicle serviced as soon as possible. How can i recommend a dealership to future customers, if that dealership can't stand behind a vehicle that cost 18,000.00 dollars. I can understand if i purchased a vehicle that cost 3,000.00 dollars, but 18,000.00 dollars. I know that my problem is not your problem and that the sale has been done, but we live in a sad state of affairs when we can't walk into a car dealership with faith that that dealership will act in good faith and provide the customer with the satisfaction of knowing that they (the customer) will get a vehicle that they can depend on and will last at least a week without having to take it to have it repaired. More
The customer service is the best. I've purchased 10+ cars and never been happy enough with a dealership to return. I will not buy from another dealer other than Rainbow Imports and I will refer all my friend and never been happy enough with a dealership to return. In addition, it is nice to have a local dealer that handles sales, parts and service on imports rather than driving to Baton Rouge or Metairie. They are accomodating and friendly. :-) More
This dealership is horrible!! I went in looking for a small 4-cylinder communter car for college & they kept showing me brand new 6-cylinders and cars way out of my price range. After I told him for about the 12th time, he finally showed me a Forenza, which I really liked. However, the car was covered in dings and dents and scratches, inside and out! They would not negotiate the price at all. I told him I was willing to pay no more than 10 thousand after TT&L, and his only argument was "everyone has to pay taxes" It had nothing to do with taxes!! I wasnt paying almost $20 thousand dollars for a used car that was beat up & not not taken care of. I called back and told the salesperson that if he could get me out the door at $10 thous then i'd pay in cash & pick it up tomorrow. He said he'd speak with his manager & call me back. Never heard from him again. I went to the Suzuki dealership in Hammond & it was a much better experience. I found another Forenza, MUCH better condition, 50,000 less miles, under full warranty, and in my price range. The salesmen did not hassle or pressure us. They were very patient and worked with us to make us happy! More
