The work we needed done was done correctly and quickly. My only issue was Debra, our contact for our appointment and updates. I told her we had GAI which should cover the work we needed done. She told me that our coverage would not cover the work because we self diagnosed the issue. Car was revving high. We looked under the hood and saw the water pump was leaking. So I made an appointment to replace the water pump. She said we would have to contact the provider and they would reimburse us for the work done. Called our provider and the agent was dumbfounded. She told me that this particular dealership not only calls them daily for claims but also sells their coverage. When I told her about the reimbursement she told me 'they should know that's not how it works' and to just have the dealership call them and make a claim. So I again called Debra and told her what was said. It turns out she didn't even try to call our provider. She repeated the same line about self diagnosed and a reimbursement and told us we had to pay close to 800 bucks for the work and part. I told her to please call the provider who will tell her otherwise. She said, ' ok we'll see what they say' in a snarky attitude. She didn't call me back until hours later saying the car was ready and that our provider covered it. If I hadn't contacted my provider we would have been out 800 dollars for no reason. The least she could have done was call them when I told her about the coverage and this all could have been avoided. More
2nd consecutive visit w/ issues: Non-communicative, Steven in service asked “just what else do you want?”, service dept is awful. Dealership Management didn’t return my call, repeatedly called & finally got service manager who was more informative, *** if it weren’t for Debra, I wouldn’t be back. Be up front. If warranty work requires overnight repair, that’s fine. Just be honest and tell me. Return a call when you say you will or ask me to call back. When a part is ordered, call me when it comes in. Don’t wait for me to recon the info. Slim in sales was very helpful. But I will not buy a Jeep from a dealership who can’t get their service dept in line. Jeep cares about selling but not service/warranty. More
