After having a terrible experience at another dealership, I found Rafferty Subaru had a Crosstrek I was in the market for. It turned out to be the best car buying experience of my life. I called and spoke with Marty Smith, and we set up a time for the next day. I told him which stock numbers I was interested in, and about my trade, and he was up front about the numbers on everything. I was running a few minutes behind for our appointment due to traffic, and Marty actually called me to make sure I was ok. I was blown away. When I arrived, he already had the keys for each car, and right away he showed me the cars I was interested in. There was no pressure, and he walked me through the finer points of each one. I decided on which car to go with, and we went on a test drive. He was extremely friendly. He pointed out the features as we drove, and made sure I had a good feel for the car before we went back to the lot. When we got back, Marty was very easy to make a deal with. The estimate for my trade was pretty spot on from what he thought it would be, and he worked with me to make sure I had a number that I was comfortable with. We had some delays trying to get through to my insurance company, but he was extremely patient and even stayed after hours to make sure everything was completed. I felt bad that it took until after closing to finalize some details, but he couldn't have been nicer about it. He was extraordinarily kind and wanted to make sure I could drive home. I had forgotten about my EZ-Pass, and he reminded me, by inspecting my trade-in to make sure I had all of my belongings. He stayed until we were the last two to leave the building, as he wanted to see me drive off in my new car. It was beyond the best experience I ever had buying a new vehicle, and I really need to thank Marty Smith and Rafferty Subaru for staying true to their value of excellence. I know people are always excited when they get new vehicles, but I was actually more thrilled about the service than anything else. I highly recommend Rafferty Subaru to anyone in the market for a vehicle, and most definitely recommend Marty Smith.
