Best Car Buying Experience Ever To the best of my recollection, I have purchased about 9 new cars in my lifetime. Far and away, my Murray Kia experience ranks as the best. And I’ve had a fair amount of good buying experiences too. My initial contact started 4 or 5 months prior, and from start to finish, my key contact throughout was Roger O’Kane. Unlike most dealers, Roger maintained the perfect distance, checking in now and again with an occasional call or email. The majority of dealers either call you daily, or check in once and then totally forget about you. Murray Kia was not the first Kia dealer I went to either (look for some other reviews coming soon, since my car buying journey took me to about 8 dealers in total). I took my first test drive with Murray Kia in July or August. That would follow with at least 3 or 4 more visits and test drives, and a series of emails with Roger. At the dealership, Roger took the right amount of time to answer my questions – this would be my first Hybrid, first Kia and first crossover. Roger had a fair amount of work to do, but at no point did he play any games. He was patient and professional from start to finish. He clearly knows his customers and knew when I was ready, Murray Kia and Roger would earn my business. While I did extensive research, I never considered visiting those out of state dealers or the local ones with crazy gimmicks. As the end of my buying process approached, I visited about once a week, asking questions and taking extended test drives. And finally at the end of October, I arrived once last time, to buy my Kia Niro! On arrival, Roger was busy with other customers (I had not scheduled an appointment) and so I worked with Larry Beckett to get the paperwork in order. I think Larry and I spent more time chatting than anything else. I met his son Alex who was newer to the business and learning the ropes no doubt from his father and other seasoned professionals at Murray Kia. Alex even shared his pizza – I felt like I was visiting friends more so than buying a car! While finance got their papers in order, the receptionist took me on a tour of the service area. Here I met a friendly gentleman and we chatted a bit about the vehicle I was buying. I later learned this man was the owner – what an amazing experience. When I arrived in finance, everything was exactly as we had discussed. Exactly! While he shared some options I could buy, there was absolutely no pressure, and no attempt at selling extras no one needs. Bonus? They have way cool electronic pad which eliminates the need for so much paper. Like my Hybrid purchase, this was another positive green impact. In about the span of 90 minutes from entry, I was in my new car. By now, Roger was free and took time to introduce me to my new car. Android Auto was setup and soon I was on my way. If you’re in the market for a Kia and live anywhere near Philadelphia, you must visit Murray Kia. If you are looking to buy the Niro? Murray has the largest selection, great prices and fair trade in values. If you are looking for a Hybrid or small crossover, absolutely check out the Niro – I’m in love with the car and what a relaxing buying experience to make it all that much better. More

It's not a brand new vehicle but it's the best looking preowned vehicle I ever purchased. Blair was great from start to finish. I was in a unique situation since I was trading a 2009 Crossover for a 2009 Sedan. Between Trade Allowance and monthly pricing I really wasn't sure which way this would go. Blair and Russell(Business Manager) came back with a very reasonable monthly payment and off I went. Everyone in the dealership was very nice and attentive to me. Their Finance guy was running about 20 minutes late when I was to sign papers so they threw in a full tank of gas for my trouble. Thanks Murray Team! More

An Honest Salesman Roger won me over by providing me with a breakdown of the price of the car that showed what my real bottom line would be with only one possible variab Roger won me over by providing me with a breakdown of the price of the car that showed what my real bottom line would be with only one possible variable (my trade allowance). I had already been to a local dealer and did a test drive so I truly wanted to keep the purchase local. However, each dealer I turned to in the immediate area would be constantly changing the price to a different bottom line that I could not back into, or, they would try to offer me a deal on the car I wanted only to find out that they did not even have one in stock stating that they would get it for me once I came in to the dealership. Buying a car is a very frustrating experience. But, not with Roger. He made all of the negotiated terms in an easy to read and understand process. Then when I did pull into the dealership with my trade, he came out and greeted me, pointed out the vehicle I had negotiated and handed me the key to key it out while he looked over my trade. The paperwork was handled at his desk without any "let me talk to the manager" common disappearance that is played at other dealerships. After the final papers were signed at the finance desk with Mike, we were taken out to the vehicle and given a through time consuming introduction to the car and all of it's many features by his apprentice, Vince. I actually felt like I owed him a tip. So, here is my bottom line. about my car buying experience at Murray Kia - it is well worth the trip to receive a good deal and be treated like you deserve to be treated. Be honest, get honest. More

He took the initiative to go out of his way to list every possibility at the lowest rate he could get me. In my own shock I drove out in a brand new 2019 soul turbo, and it is my dream car. Without his knowledge, kindness, and information I would have never known all the features this vehicle has.
