Decent experience, but should be better Our sales associate and the finance person did a good job. But there seemed to be some old-school “car salesmen” techniques at work here by the other people we worked with. Couple other little quirky things about this dealership: - No self-serve coffee in the sales area - no kids area or even an area for kids to watch TV - the other sales people were very concerned about how many parking spaces we were taking up in front of the dealership. - they attached an unnecessary (in Pennsylvania) front license plate holder to the car just so they could stick a Murray Kia ad plate in it. - they gave me a very low ball offer for my trade (I got literally twice as much by taking it to CarMax) Overall, I got a better feeling from Scott Kia in Springfield, but bought the car I wanted here because the place was more convenient. I also bought a new Toyota last year, which was a nicer dealer experience. More

Smooth and easy transaction After looking around for a bit of time, I settled on coming to Murray KIA (some 2 hrs. away from where I reside). I previously was having a difficult After looking around for a bit of time, I settled on coming to Murray KIA (some 2 hrs. away from where I reside). I previously was having a difficult time in matching the color/trim of the model of car I was seeking. Then came across this establishment on a website whom was advertising the car; so off I went. The first thing that drew my attention, was the enormous selection of vehicles available and the flawless appearance of the showroom. Got to meet some of the friendly staff. Received a great deal and the whole buying experience was pleasant and easy. An extra shout out goes to Vincent who stayed with me through the entire process and took the extra time in showing and explaining to me all of the new technology that I previously never had with my other previously owned vehicles. Certainly was worth the trip. More

Good experience. Nice people I went with my daughter, who ultimately bought a new Kia Soul. Brandon and Larry were both really nice. Straight talk from folks who don't feel like showing off This is a review for Sales. Over the course of about a month or so, I interacted with several dealerships and found Murray Kia to be one of the best. This is a review for Sales. Over the course of about a month or so, I interacted with several dealerships and found Murray Kia to be one of the best. Some dealerships that sell more storied brands (such as say, Infiniti) let the prestige of the brand get to their head but that's never been a problem with Kia. Kia's origins are more humble and today while they sell excellent cars that get all kinds of awards (from JD Power, US News, and the like) the humble roots of the brand still seem to characterize the behavior of the salespeople at Kia dealerships. Or at least that was the case here. I interacted with two individuals - Vincent Romano and Roger O'Kane and found both of them to be very straight-forward in their dealings and respectful of their customers - something that is unfortunately not true for all the sales folks I met at dealerships. On both occasions that I was interested in test driving their cars, I was given the flexibility of either driving the vehicle just by myself or with a salesperson in place and I appreciated that. (In the first instance, I chose to have Vince come with me whereas in the other instance, I took the vehicle just by myself.) Being able to drive the vehicle on one's own lets us experience the car as is, without the constant distraction of a chatty salesperson. Moreover, during my second trip when I still had some interest in the Kia Sorento, I was quoted prices by Roger that appeared reasonable and were easy to understand. Roger's subsequent follow-up was also of the right kind - mostly via email rather than by phone, in line with my preferences. All in all, while I did not buy a vehicle from them (I found the Sorrento too small and went with a Pathfinder), I would be happy to recommend Murray Kia to friends of mine interested in a Kia and would consider them again if I were in the market for a Kia (maybe the Telluride;). More
