As a 22 year old making just enough to pay my bills and for my car, I was terrified that I was not going to leave with a reliable vehicle that I could actually afford. Michael Van xxxx sold me my first vehicle and just sold me my second. He is such an incredible salesman- he addressed all my concerns about safety to assure this vehicle is safe. Not to mention, he got me an amazing deal on this vehicle. Barely paying more than I paid on my previous car. The exact truck I wanted to purchase was located at his dealership. I calle= d 2 hours ahead of time to let the dealership know I was coming to purchase= this vehicle. When I arrived, someone else was al dealership. I calle= d 2 hours ahead of time to let the dealership know I was coming to purchase= this vehicle. When I arrived, someone else was already considering the sam= e exact vehicle I had called about. Fortunately this prospect buyer had dec= ided against the purchase. He approached my wife and I and warned us not to= be fooled by the dealership's hidden agendas. After viewing the vehicle an= d sitting down with one of the employees, Michael Van xxxx (whom conceitedl= y considered himself "the best car salesman at the dealership" multiple tim= es during our transaction), I decided to go ahead with the purchase because= after all this is what I came for and I wasn't technically sold anything b= y anyone but myself. I was presented with somewhat of a good deal for the v= ehicle and given a total exact price. It was very late at this point and th= e dealership was closing down. The final transactions were quickly processe= d and I mistakenly didn't catch the $3,230.00 overcharge until the next mor= ning. I felt so deceived as I looked over the final numbers over and over a= gain with no rhyme or reason as to why I was completely overcharged and pla= yed for a simpleton. I called "the best salesman at the dealership" up the = very next morning to present to him this possible error that was made in ov= ercharges. His tune toward me had took a complete 180 turn and he basically= told me I was xxxx out of luck and was charged extra due to the "desirabil= ity of this truck model, the free tires for life and the lifetime power tra= in warranty" and that they upcharge every vehicle on their lot. In the end = this hidden charge basically covers the tire and warranty and they aren't i= n fact free at all. I was then told the manager (Dean Gagliardi) would call= me for which I waited two whole days for a call back from. He also basical= ly told me that the extra $3230.00 charge over MSRP was not an error and in= fact was made on purpose due to the desire of this particular model truck.= Why wasn't this transparent from the beginning?=C2=A0 I am completely disg= usted and embarrassed that I was played for a fool. They handled my concern= s poorly and unprofessionally. I will NOT be returning to this dealership f= or service and I definitely DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Buy= er Beware! More
