First time buying a SUV here. People are very friendly. Mark Cunningham is the most awesome, funny and knowledgeable guy you’ll ever work with. Well I guess the only way to get the owner of RK Chevy to contact me is to leave him a poor review?? Hmmmm ok so me and my wife moved to VA. a few months back to be closer to our grandchildren and hopes of a contact me is to leave him a poor review?? Hmmmm ok so me and my wife moved to VA. a few months back to be closer to our grandchildren and hopes of a better life. I suffer from an incurable autoimmune disease that left me unable to work for more then 6 years which ruined my credit. 2 weeks before moving to VA. my doctor informed me I might be in remission, I am sure you can imagine the joy of hearing those words especially during a world wide pandemic that would be a death sentence to someone with a weakened immune system!!! Upon arriving in VA. me and my wife tried from 1 car lot to the next being told your credit is to low sorry or you need more then half the cars value before we can touch you? I came home and me and my wife prayed hoping for a miracle. The next morning I remembered my step father Woody telling me back in the 90's the family at RK are good people and will never do you wrong if you ever need a car. That memory gave me a spark of hope as I headed that way only to be treated like they couldn't do anything for me after they told me they could at least in house finance me?? I left a bad review and which lead to someone contacting me and asking me would I give them a second chance and please remove the review. I decide to give it one more chance and they had the guy that I mentioned in the bad review pick a car for me, that should have set off red flags but I was desperate to get a ride so I could start working for the first time in 6+ years. This guy only gave me 1 option and now it makes perfect sense that it was a lemon he had it out for me for leaving a bad review of him!!! During the signing of the contract the finance manager explained my account was in house and I had to make 6 straight on time payments before it could be sold to an outside finance company which would then let me build credit hmm that sounded cool? Well as soon as I start calling about problems on the car behind my back they sold the account just 2 months into the in house loan so that was a bold face lie and further makes them look like they are taking advantage of me. I am a Proud son of a 2 time combat veteran of Vietnam and Grenada and I feel its my duty to tell my story in hopes it stops someone else from falling victim of this car lots poor practices. Also some things were done with my bank card that I will leave for an attorney. If anyone other then one of the owners calls me you will be hung up on. There is a ton more to this story I will leave for my next review, because I am not going away RK. Today is a review tomorrow 10 on your side and Monday attorney? The ball is in your court RK, I have the one thing on my side that cant be denied and that's its all true and can be proven I await your call! More
