Zero stars needs to be an option - this is a very shady dealership, pulling bait-and-switch tactics! They took my car as a trade-in with an additional payment for the value. However, it took them almost dealership, pulling bait-and-switch tactics! They took my car as a trade-in with an additional payment for the value. However, it took them almost 5 weeks to pay off the loan balance. Additionally, I have been waiting for my new car registration and license plates for 2 months!!!! Agree with most reviews questioning how this dealership is still in business. Buyer beware with this dealership and their unethical business practices! More

When you want to describe car dealers of the shadiest kind, that use every strong-arm tactic in the book to take advantage of customers to sell a car in ANY way possible, then you have Devon Nissan. Btw I’m going back to the BBB to report the tactics I’m about to describe below. I went in to supposedly be a co-signer but they ended up making me buy a car in my name only. They said that the person I was buying the car for would be able to refinance the car under their own name in 8 months. But the banks had no record of the payments made under the payer’s name- they were only in mine. When asked how we can fix the situation, they made an empty apology and tried to sell me ANOTHER car by trying to strong-arm me into lying about who the primary driver would be so the banks would give them the loan. The dealer sat me down & said I had to lie as if his life depended on it. “Bank guidelines had to be followed”. But Terrance wouldn’t tell me what they were. Instead he tried to make me put myself in the bank’s position! I had to tell him to stop. When I said I wouldn’t do it, the dealers went ahead and ran my credit with every bank on the east coast anyway! So far I have received NINE bank rejections in the mail and my credit score is so low I swear I’ll never be able to recover in the next 10 years. I’m sure I’ll still receive more rejections. How many times was my credit run? 12? 20 times, Chris? Instead of telling us the truth from the start, and telling us how to qualify for a car in the name of the person driving without involving me I’m stuck with bad credit from all the credit checks these guys did in their desperation to sell a car, and the person driving my car has no way to improve their credit after making payments all year. And of course, if there’s a repo, it will be on my credit right?! They don’t care. They sold a car! I’m adding this to the review today October 23rd, 2021: I am suing Devon Nissan for using me as a straw buyer for a Lincoln MKZ. The car has now been repossessed in my name and the damage to my credit is infinitely horrible. I'm so jammed up I'll never be able to get credit anywhere again for the rest of my life coz of these guys. I'm gonna get them under any and all fraud statutes in Pennsylvania. May God be with the next poor victim that walks through their doors. They are all liars, thieves and grifters. Where is their notary?! All the sales people there suck. More
Dealership agreed to a leasing price with me, i have through email their acceptance. They provided me with VIN and email link to the car a manager called and told me to come in at 6 to pick up and sign. through email their acceptance. At 530 a new manager calls and says tht car is actually double now the price they agreed on and they dont have anymore base maximas they can honor the price with but they do have the upgraded model which would be 200 more per month. Classic bait and switch dealership and refuse to honor their price now. More

Absolute worst experience in attempting to purchase new vehicle. Worked a firm deal by phone, was told minimal paperwork and automobile would be ready upon my arrival to dealership, Credit application was vehicle. Worked a firm deal by phone, was told minimal paperwork and automobile would be ready upon my arrival to dealership, Credit application was successfully completed by phone and internet. I was assured my hour and a half drive to Devon Nissan would be worth the ride since nearly all the paperwork was already completed. The remaining documents were said to be a simple process and would take less than an hour to complete, then I will then be heading back home in my 2021 Nissan purchase. I was very clear on every aspect of the deal right down to the tax and tags before my arrival. I had explained to my telephone sales person Anthony that I would have to go through many difficult steps to come there and I would be bringing a severely disabled family member with me. In other words, I don't have time to play around, I want to get in and get out since I have spent nearly 4 hours of the day forth on he phone ( I had to wait for call backs). I was reassured all of my paperwork would be waiting for me, the new vehicle would be detailed and ready. The estimated time to be able to review paperwork, test drive new vehicle, exchange keys, and be on my way will be less than an hour. MOST UNFORTUNATELY, this was a total lie! upon arrival to Devon Nissan, the fella Anthony who I worked with all day who was supposed to be waiting for my arrival with everything " ready to go" was no where to be found. I was told no less than three different stories as to "Anthony's " whereabouts. The lies were so transparent I began to question what was going on right then! Interestingly, not one person had a document ready, not one sales person or said manager agreed to the terms that were worked out with the now missing sales person I worked with all day. I was told Anthony left the prepared documents in the office by one person, I was told, Anthony works remotely, he can't send the documents to the dealership, I was told he left in a hurry he had to drive to Va for a death in the family, I was told so many different things it was pathetic. At least 5 uninformed, unprepared, and highly unprofessional people approached me to say they would gladly take care of making me a deal on the vehicle I was interested in and actually wanted to begin a new back and forth price haggle. I was encouraged to test drive the vehicle I came for, which I did, and was now ready to get moving and talk with a manager who was going to take place at the finalize the deal at the price originally agreed to by phone, more than 6 hours earlier. Suddenly, the price of the car increased over 4500 dollars! I was told I was wrong about the vehicle I saw online and the one I test drove. I showed the said sales manager his own website with the VIN number and the VIN of the car I just test drove, a perfect match! When I refused to purchase the Rogue deal...Platinum in-fact ,(pun not intended) due to so many dishonest twists and attempts to manipulate the original agreement the sales person told me, it did not matter to him if I bought the car and made the deal or not; after-all it is only a piece of metal to him anyway! Needless to say, I drove home in the car I came there in and will never return. I wonder how many sales have been lost by such scams and downright lack of respect for the customer and employer alike. Just a piece of metal to him, did not care if the purchase was made or not! Clearly that is the mentality at Devon Nissan, as my disabled family member sat there needing to be attended to by another person I had to bring along for such assistance. Disgraceful, STAY AWAY!!!i! Bought my car in 2014 with a lifetime tire replacement warranty. The first time I needed tires I had no problems. Now after the dealership was sold to Steve Silverio, he will not honor the warranty.
