New customer, to RC Hill's new dealership in our area. A Happy ending I stopped into the new Ocala location (we live in Summerfield) to look at a used vehicle that was advertised, they answered al A Happy ending I stopped into the new Ocala location (we live in Summerfield) to look at a used vehicle that was advertised, they answered all my questions and had the car I wanted. The whole process was easy and painless and I love my used car....except for one problem. The car I purchased was used and what is commonly termed as an "as Is" car or in other words no warranty. I was happy with it, it ran great, with no problems until a week later the AC stopped working. Needless to say i was not happy with no AC, so i had an estimate done, and the AC compressor had internal damage, and i was looking at a $1600.00 bill to replace it by my regular mechanic. After some deliberation, and figuring there was no use in bringing it back to RC Hill (after all it was as is no warranty and I expected them to do nothing to help me) I decided to go back and at least let them know what happened. You can read story after story of customers who are turned away after the sale when they have problems later on, and I have learned the true measure of a great company is how they treat customers after the sale, and especially when that customer has a problem. In this regard, RC Hill was exceptional, and proved they do care about the customer, Mr. Lucas (sales manager) personally took care of me and went the extra mile to make me happy, and offered to replace the AC with a new one with an offer I could not refuse. Their service department was awesome, professional and accommodating. RC Hill was so fair and honest that I wanted to share this unusual experience, and confirm that RC Hill IS our hometown dealer here in Ocala! Thank you guys! Danny Summerfield Florida. More
