What it's really like after you own a Mitsubishi from RC I noticed that a lot of reviews only covered the buying experience. I thought this review would give an objective experience of what it is like after you purchase a Mitsubishi. I purchased a brand new 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer. To this point, it only has 25,500 miles. I have done all the maintenance to this car and I baby it. Back in November 2013, I had the car looked at for the service under my "VIP" maintenance plan. Everything supposedly checked out. But then two months later my car battery dies. I find it hard to believe that the dealership did not see the battery draining. On top of that, the car wasn't even 3 years old. Completely unacceptable for a newer car. This past weekend, I took my car in for another scheduled service. Now they say my tires need changing. I questioned Barbara on the car only having 25,000 miles. She stated that the new car tires are "soft". So basically she tells me that Mitsubishi gives substandard tires for a vehicle I paid good money for. I'm going to be questioning Mitsubishi on this. I believe the dealer gave me used tires, but I got no proof. I will be requesting an investigation from Mitsubishi corporate. Keep in mind I got these tires rotated frequently. I tried to contact RC Hill from an email I had back in 2011. It was an email that personally asked me how I can get their business. I replied to the email asking his input on these premature wear issues on the tire and the battery. However no response. I can only conclude that RC hill is only interested in getting your business, but not keeping it. From time to time, I see a notice in the waiting room that says they really need business. Well, not supporting your vehicles and ignoring the customer is why they can't keep business. My next car will be a Honda. Update #1 6/2/14 5:06 PM -- Just in case anyone is not fully aware, supposedly when this dealer gets a negative review, they are notified by Dealer Rater and may attempt to contact me via the Dealer Panel. So far I received no response. This further demonstrates my concern that RC Hill only wants to sell you the car. They do not have any regard for poor experience or even attempt to contact me further. Their VIP program is complete garbage in my opinion. Update #2 6/9/14 4:43 PM -- I spoke to RC Hill (owner) the other day. The communication issues were addressed. Apparently since I was on their VIP program, I never got emails to state that if any reason that I am not satisfied, to contact them. I'm told this would be corrected in the future. Also, the owner's email address changed between when I got the car and my recent issues. But they have no way of telling us that the email address changed. He still stands by the decision that it is normal wear and tear. Even with my low mileage and could not answer why my last car check from 11/2013 had recorded no abnormal wear on the tires to all of a sudden having "attention wear" after 6 months and not even 3000 miles. The dealership should stand by their products. I don't of course expect a free tire replacement. But there should be some type of appropriate prorating. Update #3 6/16/14 11:22 AM -- I continue to question the quality of this car some more. This past weekend, I noticed that the rear pillar on the driver's side snapped open on it's own. When I looked at it, I could clearly see the airbag as that is where the side curtain airbag is stored. Luckily, I just had to snap it back on. But I don't think that should have happened in the first place. It's really getting difficult for me to recommend anyone getting a Mitsubishi. I really wish the dealer would support their products some more. More

Since I bought my Mitsubishi Outlander new in 2007, I have received nothing but excellent service from this dealership. Kristian, the service manager, is the best I have ever come across. He is very knowledgeable about cars, and the biggest thing is that he has never tried to steer me to service that is not required. I trust this service department for quality work, knowledgeable about what they are doing, and most important, honesty to recommend only the work needed to keep my vehicle safe and in top working condition. I would highly recommend them to anyone. More
I go in very often for my oil changes and service appointments. Barbara always has a wonderful attitude and is always helpful. The front desk and mechanics are super friendly and knowledgable. I drove from Sanford to Deland for a 30k service and will drive there again for all of my service needs. Although I had not purchased my Mitsubshi from RCHill; I did bring it in for a recall notice. Barbara was very friendly made me feel welcome. I had shown up early for the scheduled appt and she offered me coffee and pointed me in the direction of the nice waiting room. My vehicle was processed and I was on my way about the time of my appt. Then I receive a notice that I should bring my vehicle in for an oil change and a coupon with a discounted cost. Once again, Barbara treated me like I was a very important customer. Barbara has made me happy to have called RC Hill regarding the recall. More

Everyone is always very friendly and very accommodating, especially if I just walk in with no appointment. We have 3 Mitsubishi's in our family and we all love our cars. Very dependable!
