Purchased a used truck (2007 Dodge Dakota- first car purchase ever) on 02/25/2011. Sales guy was great, no gimmicks, was not pushy, was perfectly fine with me going to an outside finance co. instead of one of their own, did not attempt to sell me anything else. The dealer fee was higher than appreciated, but the lower cost of the inventory made up for it, the total cost was still a few thousand cheaper than others (personally also checked on same truck with Carmax). Now that I have driven it a few months. Here is my review on the condition of the vehicle. I had to already take it back to repair some steering bushings that were bad and making a rattling noise (yes the rattling noise was also heard during the test drive, I assumed it needed new brakes as that noise is consistent with needing new brakes), the fact this noise was clearly heard by anyone driving it, tells me they do not actually test drive their vehicles/trade ins I assume that is what the dealer fee relates to anyway, stuff like taking care of a trade in. I did have to pay for the repairs which was another $220, which I argued about but didn't get anywhere. The repairs were quick, they were done within 2 hours. I need to get an alignment done as the truck is pulling and shaking (has been doing so since the repair/tire balance), I will be taking it else where for that as it is usually cheaper else where and the fact they did a tire balance and didnt think to offer an alignment, no point in doing a tire balance without an alignment. Other than that, they have been good. I do have an oil plan there for the next 60,000 miles (plan on continuing the plan) and so far all of that has been fine and they top off my other fluids as well (washer fluid, etc). My experience has been great besides the bushing issue which I should not have had to pay for if the test driver did their job. So overall, I will use them again, this was probably a 1 time mistake. Honestly we have 10 car dealers less than 2 miles from our house but we were willing to drive to Deland from Daytona Beach to do business with Troy. From beginning to end Troy made the car buying process painless and stress free. He took time with us and was very patient giving us options and letting us decide on what was best for our pocketbook. We bought a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer.....beautiful car. Everyone from our salesman to Bob the finance man was so very friendly and when I tell you that this is a 'pressure free' dealership, I mean it. We will also have our car serviced there....we are so sold on RC Hill Mitsubishi. Thank you again Troy! It was our pleasure! More
