Jonathan was there to show us how to tell at a quick glance on the various model differences. We chose a white one with basic equipment because we don't put much mileage on the car.....just an errands car. They didn't have one on hand and we said we would wait until they got it. In a few days, they had it and it was painless to close the deal. We received a good trade price and the car transfer was easy. Jonathan Theodat and Khamorn Dam were very respectable and did what they said they would do. We even got to keep our low number, Massachusetts plates on a lease. Thanks Quirk! More
STAY AWAY!! I was looking to buy a used Subaru Wrx. I saw an online listing for a silver 2011 wrx hatch I was quoted a solid price over the phone and internet. I was looking to buy a used Subaru Wrx. I saw an online listing for a silver 2011 wrx hatch I was quoted a solid price over the phone and internet. I came to look at the car and go for a test drive which was not a problem. We agreed upon a price and I filled out all the paperwork. I could not leave with the car as my co-signer had to fill out her share of the paperwork. My co-signer faxed her information to the dealer the next day and I was ready to come pick up my car. I than get a call from my "sales manger" Cameron, by the way there all "sales managers" over there. Cameron informs me that he does not have a hold of the title and that it will take 3-4 weeks to get the title in hand. I decide to wait the 4 weeks as the deal I was getting was a good one. On the 4th week I call and ask if my title is ready and If I can come pick up my vehicle. Let me remind you that this is MA and dealer plates are not an option so I was out a vehicle for transportation. Cameron than tells me that its going to take about 6 weeks for them to get the title. I tell him that he needs to call me after his day off with a clear definitive update on where the title is and an idea on how far into this process we are. He fails to call me the next day to update me, also throughout my original 4 week waiting period I did not get one call or update from Cameron to let me know how the process was going talk about terrible customer service. I call him again the next day and he tells me that he was "busy" and that's why he didn't call, he than informs me that it is going to take another 4 weeks to get the title. This is when I decide to take my deposit off the car and move on. Bottom line this dealership tried to sell me a car they do not have the title to therefore they are not in legal possession of the vehicle and cannot offer it for sale. Here's the kicker that same WRX is now re listed on their site and other online car advertisement websites and they still do not have the title to the vehicle as it has only been a week since I took my deposit off. Do not buy that WRX and please save yourself the time and stay away from this dealership. Never have a seen such dishonesty and shadynes from a dealership. More
false advertising I will never go to this dealer again. Terrible BS sales tactics. I called at 8pm on Thursday to confirm that four cars they had listed on their websit I will never go to this dealer again. Terrible BS sales tactics. I called at 8pm on Thursday to confirm that four cars they had listed on their website -- which I had heard were not on anyone's lot in the greater Boston area at that time -- were actually there. The online salesperson, Tom Cooper, confirmed they were. My wife and I both took time off from work on Friday. Called before leaving home to make sure all was ok, then drove 45 min to the lot... and was told they did not have any cars in that model/trim. Total lies just get us on the lot. We walked out, and I saw when I arrived back at home that the cars were still listed on their site. Tried to call Tom to let him know how furious I was, but for the first time in two days, the call went through to voicemail. I would NEVER do business with people who use these tactics. More

I was very please with the whole experience. When I returned for my registration and inspection Lenny had my papers ready and took care of me right away. Great buying experience! I cam Bought a Forrester and Quirk Subaru never made it so easy! I spoke to Tom a few times regarding what I wanted, color, premium, sunroof, etc... I came in and test drove the one I wanted. PJ and the rest of the staff was more than accomodating including the General Manager Chris who gave me an excellent deal. I came in the next day and car was ready to go with my plates and everything was ready to go. I will definately return when my husband needs a car (which will probably be sooner rather than later) - Thanks Quirk Subaru! Maureen More
Keep away from this dealer I had very bad experience with this dealer. Sales person quoted me a price over the phone, it has being confirmed many times with the model and features in details and clearly agreed with the price. The sales person asked me to go there to do the paper work. So, I decided to take the deal. Sales person told me that he will be in 8:30 AM, the dealership will not be open until 9:00AM. I called the sales person at 8:40AM to final confirmed before I went to. But when I got there, they had different person to meet me and try to sale me a totally different deal. I said I am all set with the deal, please have that sales person to talk with me. That sales person come out, I mentioned whole deal he agreed upon, he had nothing to say, but other person took control to say: there is no way to sale the car at this price, then put all his effort to push into totally different deal. The simple questions is if they can not honor the price, why the sales person quoted it?! This is very bad sales trick: quote you a price they will never want to honor it but just get you in and then try to sale you something different. They waste customer's time, they lost customer's trust; they lost their reputation. More
Absurd level of pressure, manipulation, and rudeness I called Quirk to check on their asking price for the car I was interested in buying, a Subaru Forester. Their price was competitive. I explained tha I called Quirk to check on their asking price for the car I was interested in buying, a Subaru Forester. Their price was competitive. I explained that I had a good offer from a dealer near my home, but was comparison shopping what each dealer would give me in trade for my old car. They said I should come on down so that they could look at my car -- which was perfectly reasonable. I drove down. HOWEVER, once I got there, the pressure began. Two salesman at once, low-balling me by over $1,500 on my trade-in car, running down the model year as likely to have transmission trouble (which it doesn't), and asking, "What would it take to make you happy?" I explained that I was looking for a bottom line (sale price for new car minus trade-in value) that would be SIGNIFICANTLY better than the offer that I already had, which was from my neighborhood dealer. I told them what that offer was. They made an offer that would have cost me $1,600 more. Since they couldn't improve on my other offer, I said a polite and sincere thank you, and headed off to close the deal with the other dealer. These guys waited until I was about to drive off, then appeared at my care window, acting sleazy and desperate, and stopped me from leaving three times. They kept making small improvements on their offer, and acting like I was being unreasonable. I kept saying NO, thank you, I am not trying to pressure you, I'm not trying to get you to make a better offer, you told me what your best offer was and it's not close to the other dealer. I would try to leave and they kept talking and taking turns running back inside to "check". Since it was getting late and I wanted to finish the deal with the other dealer, I felt trapped. I didn't want to be rude by driving away while they were still talking, but I was feeling harassed and getting uncomfortable with their routine. Finally on their fourth offer, they matched the other dealer's offer, by which time I really didn't like or trust them, and just wanted to get the heck out of there. When I said "thank you, I'm just going to go work with the other dealer..." and started to actually drive off, one of them said, "We'll come down another $100 dollars!" and one of them yelled at me, "Well, thanks for wasting our time!!" in a nasty, angry voice. Sheesh. Sounds like "Esther15's" experience. Do NOT go to Quirk!! More
Their Ad/ special deal is a BIG lie They can advertise anything online to get the customers in the door. Horrible experience when i went for Subaru Forester. I did not know back the They can advertise anything online to get the customers in the door. Horrible experience when i went for Subaru Forester. I did not know back then about dealer rater.com, had I checked this site, I would not have gone to them. This is really helpful site. I do have the employee name but I would not like to post it. We were quoted a price over the email and over the phone, but when we got there, we met with a different person and he quoted us a price that was $800 higher! They even completely lied about the availability of a specific color that we wanted. Horrible customer service, what a bunch of liars. I will never go back there, and will ask all my friends to avoid this place. More
Horrible experience I was upfront in that I was gathering information wanted to test drive the Forrester, Outback, & Crosstrek & to be educated further on what leasing en I was upfront in that I was gathering information wanted to test drive the Forrester, Outback, & Crosstrek & to be educated further on what leasing entails versus buying. I was bounced to 3 different salespeople within 10 minutes of being there. No one seemed to want to help me. The salesman I ended up with took me out to test drive the Forrester & stared out the window the entire time. No specs explained- not a word-so awkward! When we finished test drive he asked if I was ready to make an offer on the Forrester to which I said no because I had yet to test drive the Outback & Crosstrek & learn more about the leasing options. He had his manager go look at my current car for trade value. The manager came in, grabbed my shoulder & said “I know you can’t be the 1st owner of this car because its older than you are”. I do look younger than I am. The manger then sat down with the salesman & again asked what it would take to sell me Forrester. When I again stated that I wanted to see other Subaru’s, the manager told me that I was “wasting their time” because the Forrester was “all I could afford”. What?! No one ever asked for my income or credit score (which are both excellent). When I said I was not going to buy the Forrester without seeing the other Subaru’s first the manager yelled at me for wasting their time & stormed off!! I couldn't believe it! He actually threw a tantrum & stormed away like a crazy person! Shame on you Quirk Subaru! In 2014 a young professional female has every right to make an informed car buying decision by herself & without being bullied. You’re the worst. More
