Bad experience My wife and I went to Quirk to purchase a new vehicle. This as our first experience with any Quirk dealership, but both of come from the automotive in My wife and I went to Quirk to purchase a new vehicle. This as our first experience with any Quirk dealership, but both of come from the automotive industry. The first part of our purchase experience wasn't terrible, but our sales rep Paula was very unknowledgable about the product......a new 2016 Tiguan. When going over the vehicle features she continuously mentioned features that were not part of the model we were looking at; 20" wheels, DSG transmission, all weather floor mats and more. Being a car enthusiast, I questioned a lot of what she was telling me, but she insisted the car had these features even when the information stating otherwise was right in her face. During the test drive, my wife mentions that she works as a Controller for another dealer (not a VW dealer) and that I used work as a Sales Manager. Even after the lack of "salesmanship/knowledge" from Paula, my wife decided she liked the car enough to consider the purchase. At this point Paula gets the Sales Manager involved and he presents the offer. We do the typical dance and after a fairly straight forward negotiation, my wife decided to purchase the car. The problem..... In the negotiation, the Sales Manager devalues her trade-in, a very well maintained 2012 Jetta, due to it having snow tires (these had less than 5,000 miles on them). He says he'll have to put tires on it no matter what, so I said I'll gladly take the snow tires back. No problem. Staying in contact with the Sales Manager in regards to picking up tires, it is now determined that "the car is going to the auction" so we don't have to put tires on it and that means you can't get your snow tires. As a former Sales Manager I wondered why a perfectly good VW, the brand they sell, it's going to auction? "It needs a little work". Well, them keeping the snow tires certainly wasn't part of the deal. In fact they made a REALLY big deal about this when trading in her car. Anyway, I agree to provide other tires just to get the car to go through the auction. Another trip up to Manchester and 4 tires dropped off. The next day or two I get a phone call from my friend the Sales Manager saying your snow tires are ready to be picked up and you owe $140 for the mount and balance. Dialogue: Me - Excuse me?! I owe money for something that was part of the deal? Sales Manager - Yes. Me - How much is it to mount and balance tires? Sales Manager - $140. Me - That's twice as much as your competitors. Sales Manager - ok....I can't agree to covering this, hold on and I'll check with my manager. Sales Manager picks back up - ok, we'll cover half. Long story, long.....don't buy from these guys. Old school tactics, unknowledgable sales people and not even competitive pricing. PS - also very weird that I never received a new car survey from VWoA.....I wonder what employee received that. More

Do not go here Do not go here! My mother leased an EOS at Quirk. I believe the guy's name was Craig that she leased from. Not 100% sure his name. About a month aft Do not go here! She did not drive the car for a year due to her illness. When she was told it was time for hospice we went to get out of the lease with about 50 miles on the car. The staff could not have been ruder or less caring and unsympathetic. In fact they wanted nothing to do with us. Craig (car salesman) who was so nice when we leased the car wouldn't even give my sick mom the time of day. He brushed her off and sent us over to some jerk who was telling us it would cost $20k to break the lease. No one apologized for what she was going through instead they just tried to wheel and deal with us and give us the run around. Long story short my mom passed away last year and my dad dropped the car off. Now they are after him for money for her lease. Heartless staff!! Were so rude after they made their sale!! I would never step foot there! More
