Right from the start and with no negotiation, Quirk was near the top, beating some of the others by over $5000 dollars. Seriously, if you're not using the Internet to buy a car in this day and age you are getting screwed; Quirk understands this and has a team of people to handle these requests - FAST and PRICE COMPETITIVE. We were delighted by how responsive Mark Gallagher was. He responded to our inquiry very quickly. He gave us absolutely no run around, didn't start off with some crazy high 'moon-shot' price to have us endure pointless days of negotiation (we're Internet shoppers - we know the invoice price of the car!), or suggest that we "come in and take a look around the showroom" even though we already indicated that we knew what we wanted. Mark Gallagher understands what people shopping for cars on the Internet are looking for and he delivers. When we arrived at the dealership to purchase the car, we were blown away. The level of service we received was astounding! We were trying to accomplish a lot in one visit to the dealer and arrived later than our intended time, so it put enormous pressure on their team to get the paperwork in place before the insurance office closed. But, they miraculously did it. We worked with Geri Jones, who was a fantastic sport, kept her cool when we encountered road blocks, and kept her eye on the prize which was making sure we left with our car. She was knowledgeable, funny, and warm, and inspired great confidence in the dealership. Geri even introduced me to a new (very cool) app for my I-phone. We live far from Quirk and leased the car there because it was the most competitive offer with the least amount of back-and-forth to come to terms. We never considered returning to that dealership for service on the vehicle, but based on our experience obtaining this lease, we are seriously considering it. It's a fantastic place. More

Took our Jetta in for an oil change, and after about 4 hours, got a call telling us they stripped and broke the bolt holding the oil pan on and that because we didn't take it to them last time they refuse hours, got a call telling us they stripped and broke the bolt holding the oil pan on and that because we didn't take it to them last time they refused to pay the $400 for a new oil pan, which they already replaced, without consulting with us about it. Spoke with the service manager who blew us off and just kept telling us that "it wouldn't have happened if we took it to them the last time." And that the last dealership to do the oil change "overtightened" the bolt. After a back and forth for weeks, and eventually contacting the Better Business Bureau, and Quirk Corporate offices, they eventually refunded our money, minus the oil change. I would never buy a vehicle there, if the sales people are as bad as the service people, nor will I ever take a car to get serviced there again. More
I bought a new 2010 Jetta from VW Wellesley last Saturday and I couldn’t be happier! Models- I had called earlier in the week and spoken with Kenny about a 2010 SE model- black with black interior. When I arrived they showed me a 2010 Limited Edition which is a different car. Not a great radio, no chrome around the windows, etc. I was frustrated that I was told the car I wanted was actually there when in fact it wasn’t. This frustration was only exacerbated by the sales person who told me the SE model no longer existed in 2010 despite the fact it is still listed on www.vw.com. From there they tried to sell me the 2009 model which was priced higher than the 2010 model with a higher APR of 3.9% (2010 APR is 1.9%). Pricing- What was also difficult was discussing the price of the cars. I had told them I had a 2002 Sentra for trade-in, but without anyone asking me for keys and actually evaluating my car, they included the trade-in value in the deal without explaining that. Very poor transparency around pricing. Discounts- Lastly I had received coupons from Quirk the day before coming in and I was first told the coupons I had printed were old and from President’s Day (which was not true according to the email), then I was told they could not honor the 120% of kelly blue book as they had offered in the email. Overall I left confused and very frustrated. Buying a new car should be exciting. I ended up getting an amazing deal on a 2010 SE model (which is still available) with a wonderful trade-in value at Wellesley and I only wished I had gone to them first. More
I just completed a long distance purchase of a used Touareg with Quirk VW and their internet sales manager, Mark Gallagher and the transaction went perfectly. Mark was responsive, always available and provided every piece of information I needed in a timely manner. We settled on a price within 5 minutes and there was never a point where they tried to raise the price or pack the deal. Mark even arranged financing for me at a rate competitive with what I was able to find locally making it an even simpler transaction once I got there. I closed the deal in person and the GM, Jason and the business manager Jeff took very good care of me. When I got back to Florida and realized I needed an additional piece of paperwork they over nighted it to me without question. Since I was shipping the car back they made sure everything was in order and emailed me when the carrier arrived to pick it up. I can't speak to their service department but I did speak with their service manager looking to get a complete history of the car and he was perfectly willing to pull the reports and go over them with me in detail. Overall a very solid deal on a great low mileage, late model used car with plenty of factory warranty left. More

I told him it was my first car, and he made me feel really good about the purchase and the terms, etc. The test drive was great, and when I went to pick up the car just a few days later, Mark showed me all of the features and buttons and even programed the satellite radio for me. A few weeks later I had some questions, and Mark and his team were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Quirk to anyone interested in VWs. They have the best selection in the area, so the car you want will probably be in stock. More

The car was ready when I got there to take the test drive and I was impressed with the auto. Jason called me the same afternoon that I purchased the auto and told me about a $250. coupon that I could get on line. I thought this to be very admirable and going that little extra mile to make one feel that someone cares. I am very pleased with your dealership due to the way I was treated by Nick and Jason. I was greeted like a VIP when I showed up. I was offered a color brochure, a beverage, and a test drive in my new 2009 Tiguan. I loved the small SUV. My salesman, John DeSantis, was very accommodating and answered all my questions with professionalism. He met all my needs. The vehicle was perfect when I took delivery. I am very satisfied with Quirk VW thus far, and see no reason why that wouldn't continue. Thank you Quirk. More
Recently went to buy a pre-owned car and I'll never recommend anyone to visit this crappy place to anyone.We saw the internet price of the car as 14,999 and when we went in the guy told us it is 16,299 recommend anyone to visit this crappy place to anyone.We saw the internet price of the car as 14,999 and when we went in the guy told us it is 16,299,when we said we saw the price as 14,999, the sales guy went to his manager and came back and told us he could give for 14,999, I asked him for 12,000 initially and the sales guy again went to his manager and this time the manager himself came and told us he can't do it less than 14,000, i asked him if he could do replace the leather seats since there were torn andwornout and the jerk manager simply tells us no and literally gets up and leaves ,literally asking us to get out, after this he goes to his other sales members and was joking about my offer right in front of us. I am planning to pursue legal option to see if i can teach this guy a lesson about customer service.The sales manager is Real jerk.Please avoid buying from these guys.They cheat on the actual price and you are treated badly on top of this.
