It was evident that salespeople at other area dealerships hadn't even taken the time to study up on the new Passat. Bob knows VW's inside-out. From drive-train to the technology, Bob was extraordinarily knowledgable. Working with Bob was an extreme pleasure. His low pressure and friendly demeanor actually made the "car buying" experience very pleasurable. Not only did I purchase a great car but received top-notch service. I knew little about the Quirk reputation before visting this dealership... After test driving a 2011 Jetta with a seemingly amiable salesman we entered the offices to discuss numbers. I was quickly introduced to the finance manager and my visit took a turn for the worse. All of a sudden I realized this was a sleazy, distinctly high-pressure, "sign this now" atmosphere and I KNEW they were trying to take advantage of me because of my age. Totally unprofessional in bad mouthing other dealerships I had mentioned I visited prior to Quirk. I was pressured to lease the car (not purchase) today that minute, as "smart people like from Harvard or MIT" lease their cars. I was even asked if I had a boyfriend to discuss the numbers with! Talk about shockingly poor service. I will never go back nor will I recommend this dealership to ANYONE. Looking for a solid quality volkswagen dealership?
