I had a terrible experience here. They came off strong offering me an amazing deal, and then they couldn't back it up. People say buying a car is no fun, but quirk Hyundai made it act They came off strong offering me an amazing deal, and then they couldn't back it up. People say buying a car is no fun, but quirk Hyundai made it actually miserable. I hunted down so much paperwork for them, such as proof of residency, and every time I got them a document, it suddenly wasn't enough and they needed something else. They dragged me along for a whole week, only to take back literally every single promise they made to me. There was seemingly no communication between the dealer and the finance guy, as my dealer never seemed to have any idea about what the finance guy was doing or why everything was taking so long, which was an explanation I was also looking for. The finance guy sent me a very unprofessional email in all caps that totally turned me off of them. Needless to say I walked away from the car. After this experience I'm not sure I will ever enter another Quirk, Hyundai or not. I had a much better experience as soon as I gave up on Hyundai, and I am way happier with the car I leased, and that it only took 2 days. Wow what a difference. Count me out Quirk. More
We worked with Pete Turner for the sales and purchase of our Sonata and then with Megan Bradshaw for the financing portion of the transaction...both were of the best possible experience we have had in our y our Sonata and then with Megan Bradshaw for the financing portion of the transaction...both were of the best possible experience we have had in our years of buying automobiles. I want to say that this was a highly positive and pleasant exchange. Every item we needed or wanted was addressed. This is a great group of folks to do business with and they are very respectful of the concerns of buying a new vehicle. Thanks all! More

The women I spoke to on the phone told me they don’t markup new cars above MSRP. After a test drive we sat down and they wanted 10% over MSRP! These people are shady and wasted 4 hours of my life. Great experience at Quirk Auto, 162 Haskell Rd. Bangor, ME I waited until the very end of the lease of my 2015 Tucson to turn it in as I wanted to buy outright my next vehicle and was having trouble finding ju I waited until the very end of the lease of my 2015 Tucson to turn it in as I wanted to buy outright my next vehicle and was having trouble finding just the right car for me. I would have bought a third Tucson, but the 2018's no longer had heated seats or the color I wanted. My husband and Mark Mallory did a lot of searching and found a Santa Fe at another Maine dealership that had the options we wanted, including a hitch package that my husband wanted. Even though the "Canyon Copper" color had been discontinued for this vehicle, the manufacturer must have had extra paint left over, so I was able to get the color that I wanted. Last, but not least, a $2,500 rebate on the 2018, no less, along with the dealership making my last lease payment, buying my Tucson outright rather than having it leased out again, throwing in all weather mats, mud flaps and a $50 money gift card made for a great car-buying experience. I highly recommend this dealership for great customer satisfaction. More
