Getting screwed with service I purchased my '10 F150 here brand new in Dec. '09. I called in March to schedule a service appointment for April 8 since I was approaching 100k mile I purchased my '10 F150 here brand new in Dec. '09. I called in March to schedule a service appointment for April 8 since I was approaching 100k miles. Over the phone I was given an estimate of $500-600. The day I dropped my truck off I was told $700-800. That afternoon I picked up my truck at 4:30 and I was handed a bill for $1,109.75. There are so many issues with this service that it is not even funny. On the receipt, on page one it states that my battery condition is good, then on page two it says replaced battery...$150.90. They were supposed to change my spark plugs...if they did, then they got dirt in my motor because there is a lot of sand around my plugs. The coolant was supposed to be changed, obviously it was as it was all over the front passenger's side of my engine compartment. I went back in the following morning to complain. I spoke with a lady, after a few minutes she went and got the service manager...and I spoke with him. I offered both of them at least six different times to go outside and look at my truck to see what I am complaining about. They refused. the service manager said he would be in touch with me regarding my complaint, it has been over a week with no contact. I will never do business with these people again. I am in the market for a new F250 diesel but I WILL NOT do business here ever again. Since then I have spoken to a couple of service managers at other Ford dealerships about my experience here. The other service managers have assured me that this type of service would not be tolerated at their location. The other service managers also told me that it states on their paperwork that you are not liable to pay for costs that exceed 10% of the quote...obviously Quirk Ford does not have any integrity, is not ethical, and has lost a formerly loyal customer. Bad Experience Everything was fine until I found a issue with the tires on the 2014 mustang that I purchased after I left. Salesman said if there's anything wrong, I Everything was fine until I found a issue with the tires on the 2014 mustang that I purchased after I left. Salesman said if there's anything wrong, I will take care of you. Found a mismatch tire on the front and a lot of rubber under the drivers side fender. I requested a matching tire and an alignment check and if it was out, to align. You would have thought I asked for a new car, they said they would do an alignment but no tire because it was inspectable, and also said if I had noticed it before it let the dealership they would have taken care of it???? Very confusing. The manager was a pompous xxx about the whole situation. First of all who would look for a mismatch tire on a 2014 car with 17500 miles and if it had a flat you it should be replace it with a stock tire. This dealership needs a new manager. Also the car was sold with half the oil life gone!! Everything should have been done when I told them I was coming to look at the car. He could give crap but couldn't take it. When your out the door of Quirk Ford Augusta, your on your own their word is no good, a salesman's word is no good if he has no backing!! Horrible experience, sure glad I do no sell cars for this (Manager) Note! This is not rating the salesmen... More
