My wife and I have purchased 4 vehicles from marshfield quirk in the last 7 years and if we had ever needed to use the service department prior we would have never made it to number 2. I purchased a brand quirk in the last 7 years and if we had ever needed to use the service department prior we would have never made it to number 2. I purchased a brand new 2022 jeep gladiator on September 8th 2022 and that evening the check engine light came on I called the salesman whom sold me the jeep and he informed me that the service department is over booked and short staffed so he has no idea when they could look at it and suggested I drive it and see if it goes out on it’s own of course that is information that would have been extremely important to know prior to purchase. I brought it in first thing the next morning and my 1st attempt to have it fixed I asked for them to hold on to it because because I had to work and I knew they were short handed and booked so I asked for a rental loaner or shuttle I was told they do not provide any of those options. I waited until I noticed my jeep parked out front which was about a hour and a half after arrival. I had to look for someone and found a young kid working as the service department front man. He told me the 3 evap codes causing my check engine light was from a needed computer update. This made no sense to me but he assured me that the jeep was all set. The following day the gas cap light came on and I brought it back they cleared the light and told me it was my fault for not tightening the gas cap although I got the jeep with a full tank of gas and had not touched the cap yet. The following day gas cap light came back on I brought it in again this time they just pulled it out front and kept me waiting until I noticed it again then I was told there is nothing they can do and gave me my keys back. I got in and gas cap light and check engine light was on so I put it right back in the bay and I was told to drive it until they go out and asked me to leave. I took my jeep to best jeep in Plymouth ma and the tech there told me I have a vapor leak and by no stretch of the imagination is it going to disappear on its own and it’s absolutely not the gas cap. I still have my check engine light on now and currently dealing with the better business bureau,attorney general, and Chrysler to get this resolved. Like I previously stated we have purchased 4 cars in 7 years from quirk marshfield so if you think loyalty or even knowing someone who works there has some security to offer think again. You are on your own after purchase. I strongly urge you to read some reviews from people that found issues after purchase and not just vehicle purchases that never had issues. Prior to this purchase I would have never know how poor the service department is. More
Bought my 2020 Ram 1500 here and the sale was the best I’ve ever had. Recently brought it in to have the computer reflashed for the trailer brake controller and it was a breeze.
